Why should we care about Bama? As long as we take care of business, we'll be fine..

Of course.

True LSU fans were raised to have two favorite teams.

LSU

and whom ever is playing Bama.....

i will be rooting for them to lose. it would be different if the florida game had gone differently.

a close loss or a win against florida and i would be rooting for bama to be undefeated when we play them.

now if we somehow turn our D around and start playing amazing football it wont matter where bama is in the rankings. if we run the table and win the SEC with one loss then we will be just as likely to make it to the BCS Championship game.

right now i just want the SEC Championship. I am not worried about the BCS at this point.

Of course - YES - I want the team alone in first place to lose. This brings them closer to us - so who would not want Ole Piss to upset Bama - not me!

Yes, we should definitely root for Ole Miss. They already have 2 losses in the SEC, while Bama has none. Even if LSU goes undefeated the rest of the way out, the SEC CG needs to be the teams focus and same for the fans.

BCS title shots aren't in their control, but the SEC title shot is. Therefore, you go for a Bama loss to help us with that goal. We play both, so computer-wise it won't hurt us. Losing to UF, we took control of a BCS appearance out of our hands, but not the SEC CG.

Go Ole Piss, just for this week.

I can think of several games that would match or have exceeded this emotion - especially if LSU loses at all between now and then.

I can't speak for all of the posters here, but for myself, I spend absolutely ZERO FRICKING TIME on other school's boards. With responsibilities and some semblance of a life, I barely have time to check in on this board.

That said, just why so many "Bama" and other schools log on here and run their dribble, is utterly amazing. You guys must really have nothing better to do whatsover, to come run smack on this board.

This isn't to be confused with posters like Kuhn, who gets my vote for "Best Poster from an opposing school" for being such a nice guy to help out LSU fans.

So I should go ahead and put my $ on LSU ?

Glad I didn't listen to the LSU fans on here when I bet on our games against Clemson and UGA !

Seriously, If I was an LSU fan, HECK YEAH, GO OLE MISS. As bad as I would hate to, I would root for Auburn or Tennessee if their win would put us in Atlanta.

That last sentance almost made me throw up in my mouth

It will not really improve our ranking. Other teams losing will. Why do people care about something out of the team's hands? The rankings are dependent on other teams too. It will not improve SOS, because we also play Ole Miss at home. So it will even out. Why can't you people get that?

Yes....but it is not necessary. We can win out and beat them head-on and we're in the SEC championship.

However, if we execute another miracle and run the table, we don't want Alabama's ranking when we beat them to come into question. Want them ranked 1 or 2 when we toast em!

I am being a ranter most likely considering our 30pt loss to Florida. Maybe we'd have to beat FL by 30 in the SECCG.

Two rules in life.
1. Never pull for Bama
2. See rule one.
