I think he should/will stay.

Well, there is definitely an injury question now. Playing next year might mitigate that. However it is just as likely to make it worse.

The smart, rational, reasonable thing to do is for him to get his draft grade after the season and make the decision then. If a first, or even second, round grade (as a pass rushing DE/OLB), I would advise him to declare for the draft and make a 100% effort to prepare for and perform at private workouts and pro day. Make a decision about the combine when the time comes.

If he has a 3rd round grade or lower, I would recommend he return to school.

Chaisson is very good. And a great pro prospect. But he will need to put more on tape

I agree wiht all of this

Cosmi won.

Don't agree with that.

Cosmi got beat and was holding on almsot every play, and Chaisson still got pressure on the QB and a sack. Thats what the tape shows.

I'm not sure what game you were watching but Chaison clearly got his arse handed to him by that tackle, who played him 1v1 all game.

There are 16 games, plus pre-season games, plus playoffs in the NFL, AND BETTER tackles. He hasn't even played 2 games in a row in 2+ years.

You guys crying that he was held all night just need to quit being babies. That tackle has some great footage I'd say. :)

They had like 90 plays and nearly all pass (it felt like) so those stats to me don't give you the full context.

I'm as a big an LSU homer as anyone, but this guy needs to show he can play a full season, and be consistent before interring the draft IMO.

Well he’s getting targeted by opposing OL

He’s getting held unbelievably (Texas game 16 holds), Often (GS, NW ... easily 5 blatant holds each of these games)

He’s getting chop blocked too ... His injury!
That play was called a penalty

They targeting him ... We gotta have the DL starters back to have him effective ... Period

Just hoping he gets thru Vandy with no injury

My God, can you cry anymore?

No. Seriously, what has he really done so far? Yes, there seems to be a lot of upside but he has hardly played. If I am an NFL team I'm not spending a meaningful draft pick on a guy who can't even stay on the field.

He is like an enigmatic wraith, for sure. Gets pumped heavily, yet has very little college experience as a starter to determine whether the hype is earned or not. Hope he balls out the rest of the season.

Bunch of NFL scouts in here...

As long as he doesn't miss over half the year with minor injuries, he's absolutely gone! A major injury doesn't drop him past day 2 currently.

He's a freak

He actually had a good game vs UT where he dropped into coverage and set the edge as needed.

He's very smart

Self motivated

Hes #18

He'll have a few big moments this year and go 1st round

Chaisson needs to prove that he is a durable player and can play a full season without injury.
