i haven’t heard a single person say that they were.
just shocked that someone left a Power 4 gig before a playoff run.

It’s not, but they’re trying to rationalize it being on par with LSU because of what they accomplished under Kiffin. They’re afraid of what he’s going to build, at LSU.

Ole Miss best run was 1959-1962.

Only in the minds of Ole Miss people and some delusional media.

I think OM has elevated itself a bit in the past 10 years..LSU has pretty much stayed the same. The bad hiring decisions didn't help. I think most of OM's enrollment is made up of upper class out of state students. They have done a better job upgrading their student body than LSU has. Out of state tuition brings in a ton of money. I think bama has employed the same strategy. So to answer your question - the past 10 years.
I'm not buying it, but talking heads are. I still think of it as a backwoods, stuck in the past, king of place with a HS stadium they put a lot of lipstick on. DEI and woke never had a chance in Oxford.
You can't get buluga premium black caviar there.

It’s not, but we had tired bad coaches who set us back, while they hired tactical masterminds

When they hired Lane and traded Landshark for 1.5 minute tuddy offense.
