It’s not, but they’re trying to rationalize it being on par with LSU because of what they accomplished under Kiffin. They’re afraid of what he’s going to build, at LSU.

I think OM has elevated itself a bit in the past 10 years..LSU has pretty much stayed the same. The bad hiring decisions didn't help. I think most of OM's enrollment is made up of upper class out of state students. They have done a better job upgrading their student body than LSU has. Out of state tuition brings in a ton of money. I think bama has employed the same strategy. So to answer your question - the past 10 years.
I'm not buying it, but talking heads are. I still think of it as a backwoods, stuck in the past, king of place with a HS stadium they put a lot of lipstick on. DEI and woke never had a chance in Oxford.
