You don't say? Really?
That hasn't been said on here within the last week.
One game at a time, geez. Some "fans" are still losing their minds after the last game.

Some "fans" do not want a repeat of last year..

Explain please. You mean the 12-0 record? Or winning the SEC making it 13-0?

Or is it that 1/9 thing? You were a better poster than this. What happened to you?

True that's a good mindset, although I wouldn't consider this week's game as a "game" if you know what I mean. The player and the coaching staff should look ahead at this time and focus on the FLA "game".

I don't either but it's a good scrimmage-like game, if you will.

I'm sure they have many plays and game plans drawn up but they won't "look ahead." They'll concentrate on Towson and things that should be worked on right now.

Florida played Bowling Green in the Swamp in week 1
Going into the 4th Qtr they were up 17-14. BG had 8 more first downs and Florida outgained them by 42 yards. LSU will beat Florida handily. Because they are the superior team.

Sure we will, since teams never improve from week 1 to week 6.

Did you miss the part where Florida went on the road & beat 2 SEC teams?

I think we'll wear them out & pull away in the 2nd half... but to simply dismiss this Florida team & assume a blowout shows your football IQ, or lack thereof.

been discussed ad nauseum.

I think they have a legit shot at upsetting us if we keep playing sloppy football

so do 4-5 other teams on the schedule. We also have the opportunity to absolutely blow them back into the 90s if they play sloppy. It's why the games are played.

The thing about Florida is that they have to run the ball effectively to have a chance and that is going to be very difficult against LSU's defense. LSU runs the ball extremely well and despite what some on the board think, our OL is pretty good. I like our run game against FLorida's defense. The best way to win a game on the road is to run the ball and stop the run. LSU does both really well. I like our chances. I still think Florida is about 2 years from being the premeire SECEast team again.

Injuries are more a concern than prep time to me. I kind of think Mingo, Sam, and Logan should just have the day off.

Florida will have trouble stoping the run game against LSU. That will be the difference. It will be a close game but the Tigers win.

@florida and @A&M are the two toughest games outside of Bama IMO.

Unless Fla plays just like Auburn-- then we win by 2. Lol

Including this guy. Driskel and the gators may finally be coming into their own, but their own isn't half as good as bama. They will play us a great game in the swamp, and they could potentially beat us if we aren't prepared, but it is no where near the degree of difficultly we will face on Nov 3

Yes any game in swamp is tough, this year especially but nowhere near as Bama this year at home.

Bama at home is easier in my opinion as well. I'm sorry I feel this way as well. Have all along.

Do y'all think Les' team has been starting to prepare for the Florida game since this week?

Absolutely not, they have put all their focus on Townson.

disagree

and so does veagas. Vegas has lsu as 2 point favorites in the swamp. Vegas has LSU 1 point favorites in BR against Bama. I'd say that is pretty "near" the degree of difficulty. But hell, what does vegas know right?

We need to make our self better as a team instead of worrying about Fla. A lot of people are picking Fla., because we played so poorly last week but not me!

agree....especially worried about A&M....not because they are that good, but because we get them after two consecutive top 10 matchups. There will be a degree of letdown, and A&M will be balls out to win, especially if LSU is still undefeated.

me neither

a lot of people that have no clue do this...which includes a lot of the analysts that never even watch the games.

everyone wants to focus on a 2 point win over auburn, in a game that lsu dominated. It's certainly worse than the 2 point win bama got over Tenn in 2009.....you know, when bama was outgained by tenn....lol...

LSU will be just fine, and that was the best thing that could happen to them.
