Have you even watched the Auburn and Arkansas games? Dude got abused.

The problem with the rant is the fact that anyone would bend over for him because he is the closest thing we have to a "star" that you fail admit his downfalls.

He missed COUNTLESS tackles in ALOT of games this year. In most of the big games in the second part of the season, he did not bring it. If you fail to see this, then you need to watch some replays And saban went RIGHT at him so kill the people don't throw at him argument.

Did I say that PP doesnt play CB like TM does? No, I said that he doesn't bring the intensity and he is not as much of a "gamer" as TM.

You're an idiot.

Oh, PP wants you to bend over, get in line

See my post about Bama. He had Jones. The rest of the DBs had everybody else. No other CB takes on that responsibility.

He's tried to pick up the slack from other players a few times, and he's left himself a bit exposed in the process.

This is exactly why he will be a great NFL CB. He will only have to worry about his assignment and execute it. The only thing holding him back is the cramping issue

What can you not comprehend about missing countless tackles?

He missed tackles on run plays, you know, missing a guy that is running (with the football), oh and that guy gets yards (running yards).

Oh, so he's not a LB. Got it. What game did he miss so many tackles?

I, too, believe that he will be great in the NFL. You do not see many corners that have his speed, and strength. He has great ball skills. He needs to focus on tunneling his energy so he can bring it all game, all year.

It's been a while since I attended high school so...

Summary:
You claim TM outplayed him. I made a point that PP took on responsibility that only a unique CB cand handle. I also said that TM was used differently to create turnovers and big plays.

You respond by saying Auburn and Arkansas abused PP. I noted that Auburn ran all over the field and asked who at Arky abused PP.

You responded by saying PP missed tackles. I noted his position and asked which game he missed tackles.

You make fun of high school, which I take no offense because I hated the place.

Did I comprehend everything?

TM, relatively speaking, outplayed PP. Yes. Fact.

Auburn had many rushing yards, due in part to a few PP missed tackles.

PP gave up the corner more than once against Arkansas. He looked like he was in slow motion for some reason.

Julio Jones is very good. So are the receivers in the NFL though...

Disputed. How is that a fact? And how can you compare them? The fairer comparison is Claiborne.

Yeah, I blame that all on PP.

What does "give up the corner" mean? You referring to run plays? Then the blame is also on the DE and OLB.

He had a great year. He did what was asked of him on the field.

He was in man to man coverage most of the year. You can't expect a kid to stop every play in man to man.

You just want them to be in position to make tackles.

pretty sure he blew a coverage that led to a touchdown. and mallet threw wherever he wanted too.

julio dominated him. maze burned him and pp committed pass interference.

no, i'm not a ranter. no, i'm not a negatiger. i just don't understand how everyone is saying he's so good because no one ever throws his way. the good teams threw his way and he got smoked. yes he is a great returner.

I truly believe the heisman pose in the wvu game killed him. didn't return another punt or kick for a TD and only had one pick against ULM.

I don't disagree with your premise, but saying that PP is overhyped because he got burned on some RUN plays and was "out-efforted" by a guy whose only assignment was to blitz and cause hell?

Relative. Meaning, TM played his position better than Patrick Peterson played his.

Look, you are learning something on here.

Giving up the corner-
Allowing a Running Back, or ball carrier, to extend the play down the sideline by letting them run around you.

Auburn-
When they ran at him, he played poorly. Of course it wasn't all his fault.
