I wish point shaving was the explanation for what happened last night, but unfortunately it is not.
As bad as the end was on offense, it was just as bad on defense.

I know Oweh - a very good to great offensive player - took over with 9 points, but maybe change your defense to trap/double the ball, etc. Just give them a different look.

Rodney Terry on the color commentary was suggesting that.

21 points in 7 minutes with the lead - not when trailing and purposely putting UK at the line - is just BAD defense - regardless of how good Oweh is.
Here are the LSU stats from that point forward...

3 fouls on defense
2 turnovers
1 for 3 on 3-pointers
1 for 4 on 2-pointers
4 for 8 on free throws

When not-clutch is not-clutch, you give the other team a chance.

Just stay behind him and if he catches it, make him take a contested shot.

Ball, man, goal; defense 101.
3 out of the last 8 I believe.

McKinnon 2 for 2

The other 6 only 1 was made.

Ridiculous.

Laettner hit a fade away jumper.

This guy had a clean look because no one on the bench reminded Miller (who should know it anyway).

BLOW IT ALL UP!
What do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhinoceros?

Eleph I know?
This is for the NFL and the data is from Feb. of 2024, but gives an idea of relative positional values. I know college may value a few things differently, but probably not much.

quote:

average annual value (AAV) of each contract—basically the total compensation divided by the number of years called for in the contract.

Zoomed in on other positions besides QB

Much more detail in the source article...

This will end up 95-60 type game if Vandy wants it to be.

How about when Kirk was describing playing with a tweaked/pulled hamstring and Fowler says something like (paraphrasing) "I'm not an athlete - everything hurts"

This year is a transition year, but the roster may end up having the lowest percentage of Louisiana players in a long time, if not ever, depending on how many that have entered the portal return to LSU.

Hopefully, this stabilizes starting next year and beyond.
It is really the 14 to the other 18 which is 36+32 = 68 yards. But still easy arm strength.
I am. I know the guys getting paid to build this team are on top of things. I just posted this since a 5-star entering the portal is rare and he's from Waco, TX which is fairly close.
Agree. I guess I said pretty good since there are other priorities to spend money on, but a 6-2 DB that can play is always of interest.
I know CB roster is in pretty good shape, but maybe give him a call?

Took unofficial visit to LSU in April of 2023. Was offered by all the top teams including LSU and Ole Miss.

#5 CB in class of 2024. Would have 2 years remaining.
Looks like a player. Weak PI call against him tonight with all that they were not calling earlier in the game.

He was a backup behind some pretty good DBs at Miami, but was forced into action with the injuries.

With new staff, would he want to come home?

I know Miami will try to keep him even if he would want to transfer.

#184 nationally and #21 CB in class of 2025.
