Just an FYI i started the game thread but I won't be able to provide updates after 3:30 so hopefully first pitch is at 1 or just after 1.

What are yalls thoughts on the catchers so far?
I really think Springfield and Schlattman looked excellent, both really framed pitches well and had no issues.
Caccamise is probably the best catcher defensively but its pretty apparent they don't trust her bat yet.
I think Torina will sacrifice a little bit of defense for more offense

I like all 3 honestly like you said Caccamise might not bat for a bit because they want more offense.

Based off reps in practice its between Schlattman and Springfield mainly. Only issue is if Schlattman is at catcher Springfield is at DP, and i know Torina wants Sunseri's bat in the lineup because she adds a lot of power and can be a major RBI contributor. Unless LSU wants to head the Florida route and do what they do with Ocasio and put Sunseri in OF but Antoine is important too.
Its nice to have options I suppose. It will all work itself out.

I used to be the head coach there before I went to College Station and we were planning the new complex. The new coach called me and wanted to know if the field had to be green. I found nothing in the rule book that said it had to be green and told her no. If I would have known she was going to do that, I would have said yes, so I got blamed for it... in a joking way.
