How many carries last year?
And why was he 5th string or whatever?

Spencer Ware was recruited by everybody.
he was not recruited hard by OSU. they picked another RB to be their elite guy last year

Sounds like they totally ignored him in the midwest.
the only programs on LSU's level on that list are UM and OSU, and neither recruited him hard, esp early

add LSU
and add the idea that the schools offered him to play football and baseball, even if not true.
A few decent football schools in there. But the only real relevant baseball schools in there would be North Carolina and LSU. Add to the fact that UNC isn't a great football school. If I were the kid, my decision would be pretty obvious.

Did you see his interview on the sidelines after a run?
he mentioned championship like it was the absolute expectation.
I like it.

So don't say they didn't recruit him then, they did, he just fell in love with the Tigers early.
It was a good pull for Les and the first time OSU hadn't got one of the best players in their state in years.......
He has had success in Michigan as well.

i really don't know is OSU really recruited him. they completely ignored him until possibly the AA game

well when LSU, WV, NCState, and MSU are recruiting you, which school would you choose?

because they chose this path

To add, Oregon had him on their list.
Purdue also offered.

How did we pull him out of Cincinnati, Ohio?
Cus LSU can get whoever they want.
But seriously you go to give credit to the coaching staff. I dont think people realize how well they recruit. And they actually do a pretty good job out of state. Louisiana isnt necessarily perceived as a nice place to live to the rest of the country.
