I could be mistaken but Arky may have been the 1st SEC team to ever lose to tOSU. So they got that going for them..

What is it about Arkansas? Les is 3-3 against them. No game has been decided (either way) by more than 8 points. Indeed, over 6 games, Arky has scored 1 more point than LSU. And before you say it's coaching, Nick was 3-2 against Arky. Do the Hogs get up for the Tigers more than vice versa? What is it?

LSU has a ton to prove, and deserve to be highly ranked becaus of the skill returning, but we better expect a top 50 offense if we expect a NC. But thats nothing new to this page.

This is terrible news-sets us up for a fall=tell me how many teams have been ranked #1 going into the season and end up undefeated!

They are usually a pretty good team with a dangerous offense (McFadden and Jones on the same team), Matt Jones, Mallett, etc. The better question is why does Florida suck against Ole Miss?

Agreed. The same fans who bitch and moan about the lack of respect shown to LSU by various media outlets are the guys who get all nervous when various media outlets show respect.
For me, I want LSU to actually be the best first and foremost. Secondarily, I want people to recognize our greatness. So it bothers me none that we have a lofty preseason ranking. Now it is up to our players to block out the hype and play to their potential. If they play to their potential, they will prove the experts right. If they don't, they have only themselves to blame.
LSU fans, quit being pussies and enjoy the respect.

Its funny at the number of people on this thread who can't read/ comprehend the english language. The statement is what it says: Without Weeden or Blackmon returning, they are a 7 or 8 win team.
