Nuss haven't done anything to lose his job.

People get so defensive over the player. The offense is bad but under Nuss they haven’t scored 25 or more on any power team. Funny how MVB came in and marched right down the field for a TD against A&M. And it took escaping the rush to make it happen.

He's a fragile kid, I guarantee he won't be willing to play if that was to happen. You guys forget he was unwilling to play against KSU; we had to use a WR to play QB.

I'm all for MVB playing but I still believe in Nuss, and I want him to see it through.

QB is one of the most difficult positions to play.

you act like qbs don't get pulled all the time for bad play...what has Nuss done to keep his backup on the bench?

Has looked like an upgrade to me. Not sure what games you’ve been watching.

ETA: reply was meant for Hamma not sure what happened there

His feet aren’t attached to cinderblocks & he can throw a 10+ yard pass on a rope, which is more than what we’ve had all year.

Maybe. Maybe not.

But we know Nuss hit his ceiling in the bowl game last year and is regressing every week.

A QB that is somewhat mobile, can complete 20% of their passes over 15 yards, and 60% of their passes under 15 yards, while actually attacking the middle of the field is a HUGE upgrade over what we have in Nuss.

Why not see if MVB can just do that? Nuss is the worst QB in the conference and it isn't close.

Nothing. I don't think we are beating bama with nuss and i have no idea if we can with MVB...but from how I have seen Nuss perform this year I have absolutley no confidence that he can beat bama.

Now answer my question...What has Nuss done to keep his starting job?

MVB was promised a redshirt year so he could compete to be our starter in 2026 and 2027.

He has played in two games so far, I think. He can play in two more games and not lose his redshirt year.

Let MVB play in the bowl game and against Arkansas or WKU.

Are you blind or just related to Nuss. This year he has been garbage. MVB should play the rest of the year.

Nuss is a fifth-year senior with valuable experience. Since we're bringing in a new offensive coordinator, I’m sure he would prefer an experienced quarterback who is familiar with the playbook and can quickly grasp new concepts. We should give him the Alabama game as an opportunity to improve. If he still struggles to get the offense moving, we need to have a candid conversation with him afterward. Point out his flaws and shortcomings respectfully and then consider benching him. Given that he is a coach's son, I believe he would understand the decision.

Yes a fifth year senior who got his coach fired. Time to move on.

What?!

He didn't play because he needed to be redshirted. If he had played he would have lost the entire season for 1 game.

BK was fired because he's lazy, an A-hole, bad at being a CEO and his players and former players didn't care for him.

I agree with you on that but Nuss was also a big part of it. Nuss shouldn’t have been benched after the ole miss game.
