That was when the NFC West was...
NO, TB, SF, Atl. I think that's all.
You almost had it. Take TB out, it was the LA Rams with Jim Everett and Eric Dickerson.

when did west monroe become a small school?

Dalton will always be my fav tiger. But Jacob Hester is a close second.

That is a great combination. Both from smaller schools and both were under valued when they signed. They made us proud.

Wasn't Hilliard like 8 for nine on passes with the Saints and all 8 passes were for TD's? He should have been voted to the pro bowl at least 3 times. I can still see him getting clocked and laying on the ground, getting up real slow and walking back to the huddle. He was a true warrior.

could care less if you know him and I could care less if you see him almost daily....if that's all you say. That means nothing to me or anyone else on here. Why don't you add something about him that we might not know, or tell some story about him. Otherwise, this post just ranks right up there with all those threads that say "I saw Lee at the grocery store today...I couldn't believe he was in the junk food isle." You know, the posts where someone just wants to say that they saw an LSU player.
This is the stuff that makes for lots of lurkers.... that could of been kept to himself...IMO

Thanks. He is a cool dude. I see him almost daily.
I don't know him, but from what I've heard about him, it would be real pleasure. He is one of my ALL-TIME TIGERS. One of the best all around players ever in the SEC. He finished second in the Heisman in '61. I have always thought that he was robbed, due to Cannon having won it in '59. Only USC can pull that off. He was relatively successful as our coach in reversing the trend of the top hs players leaving the state. Wish it had turned out better for him as our coach, for him and us.
ps Tell him for me that IMHO, had he not fumbled a potential 98yd td ko against Ga Tech, that he would have won the H. He was making his move on the last defender, and the guy lunged at him and poked the ball out. HOLD THAT BALL JERRY!
