Well, no, not really. I will offer the dissenting opinion here. I couldn't give a shite about tailgating. It is all about the football game to me. Call me crazy. I would much prefer watching games at home in the AC or watching games and grabbing some food at the Chimes than walking around in the rain/heat/humidity and sweating my balls off. I really don't see how people do it. I have always thought, and more so recently, that people tailgate just so they can go to the office on Monday and sound cool when they say they did it. I just don't get the obsession, and I never will. Get me to the stadium about an hour and a half before kickoff and I am plenty happy.

it's about the whole experience not just tailgating. people who don't go to the game and just tailgate suck. If you don't have a ticket that's one thing but supporting the team is the main reason for being there. I luv everying about LSU. Good r bad, I will be there.

You must not have many friends. I tailgate because it gives me the chance to catch up with old friends that come in from out of town that I don't see very often. Not everyone tailgates with stripper poles and DJs. You obviously don't understand that.

I must hang out with the wrong crowd at work then...I have a couple of people that know zilch about football who talk about how cool the tailgatig was. Gets annoying by lunch time.

And I am not downing tailgating totally I guess...I just hate the people who have the "I tailgate, therefore I am" mentality. It's just not that big of a deal.

i hope you feel better now.. all i said was that's what i like to do...i'm 43 and went to enough games i doesn't bother me to go in. i don't have tickets so what i'm suppose to do stay
home.....i think not.
