Just like Griner, He had hash oil and less than an ounce of marijuana. He has been in for 18 mos. Was a teacher for diplomat's kids in Moscow. To suggest he was involved in espionage would be silly.

Just because you don't want a thing to be, and you choose to ignore commonalities, coincidences, or outright connections, does not mean things are not related. Do the ants, when you kick their hill, have a meeting to go over blueprints or discuss the plans in words? No, and yet...they have a common understanding and get the job done. That's what the collective left is. No plans are directly spoken. They just have the same values and goals, and when one starts to do something, the rest coincidentally pick up on it because they just know without having to articulate. Therefore, you never really "see" the connection in the form of a document, email, recording, etc.
So, yes. The culture war was started by the left on a very multifaceted front. But no, you are not likely to find some connect-all manifesto, at least outside of a university contemporary literary theory and criticism class. That class was actually kind of fun, but deconstructionism believes too much in a sort of affirmative negative, that things necessarily cannot be connected, and no things can be known outside of, or at least they can only be understood as inside of, each topic's binary--there's the Marxism again--such as class, race, gender, etc.
