You personify the word "teammate," and LSU fans both notice that and appreciate it. We are always pulling for you to be great. Thanks for being who you are..you represent LSU in a fine manner. No matter what you decide to do in life, LSU fans will always wish you well.

Thank you, Jarrett Lee.You have shown what a true team player you are. If not for you we would not be 11-0, 8 of those are yours. May you have a wonderfull life after LSU.

quote:
I both loved and hated you over the years.
General Lee - you are a man amongst boys - thank you for being there for us when we needed you, in spite of all the abuse you took from us when you were down.
As Rudyard Kipling would say - "You are a man, my son."
IF - by Rudyard Kipling
quote:
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim, If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same:
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Same here except I have always pulled for J. Lee. I have shaken my head when he makes mistakes but so has he and his family. J. Lee seems like the type of person you would want as a friend.

Mr. Lee you have taught many that perseverance pays off even when you don't feel you have treated properly. Good Luck after you graduate in whatever you do in life. Your attitude will carry you far oh wise one.

I remember being very excited when I heard you signed with LSU. I thought to myself that we just landed the next great QB...and though your career didn't exactly take the path that you might have thought it should, you're still stronger now because of it.
You're the rock of this team and a true general. You personify all of the intangibles that it takes to be a good QB and Leader. You've got guts young man...and I'm sure you will excel at everything you do in life, much like you sparked this football team to excel to an 8-0 record.
Good Luck and Godspeed #12.

Agree with all, thank you OP.
JL has shown what a great job his parents have done and the many great qualities they instilled in him. To persevere through the adversities thrown at him, shows what a MAN they raised, and the metal that he is made of....
