I has done little more than win over a grad transfer beating out Cincinnati. His season last year was embarrassing, and his offseason was highlighted by missing on recruits and lying about finding the best assistant coaches. Burrow is a big boost to the program and I’m happy for that. Name me one thing O has ever done to redeem himself all the way back to his 3 win season at OM.

horseshite. Orgeron was the interim coach and head coach during the recruitment of 75% of the QBs on this roster. The guy he was going to start this year was a walkon. If QB sucks this year, it's 110% on him.

I agree. We get it you don’t like Orgeron. Bitching 24/7 will not change the fact that he’s our coach for now. At least he’s trying to make drastic changes to improve the offense and improve the depth in the trenches. You can’t deny that!

Yes, I can. We were promised when he was hired that we would have the best coordinators money could buy. We end up with one who has not been an OC for nearly 20 years. If he is the best, why has no one else snapped him up in that time?
Promoting the qb coach is now considered a drastic change?

If it was Les, he wouldn’t even consider any type of spread, motions or RPO. You people just need to relax and give it one more season. If he doesn’t get us some impressive wins and improve that 9 win record, then continue your cry baby meltdowns. I wonder how many of you people even go to games or do y’all just bitch from your recliner and even if we still had Saban going for a 6th title in a row you’d still be there bitchin bout something

He's been given another chance to be a successful head coach at a major university. After his first abysmal 3 year tenure at Ole Miss, he's extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to be head coach at LSU.
There's a portion of the fan base that is incapable of understanding that O's job security is result driven. All head coaches at major universities retain their employment on "almost" a yearly basis through merit and not excuses for under-performing.
In some cases the administration provides flexibility for a new head coach to produce acceptable results, LSU Men's BB for example. Orgeron's employment as HC doesn't have this flexibility since all of the resources and personnel that Orgeron needs to meet expectations are laying in his lap.
