Population of Ohio is 12 million
Pop of Louisiana is 4.6 million
Last years title game had lowest national ratings with two teams from southeast
They don't want to risk two south east region teams in title game again this year.
Clemson vs LSU would make them lowest amount of money with national ratings.
They need Ohio state to play easy 4 seed and advance to draw the ratings from that part of country when they face LSU or Clemson for the title.

You realize giving credit to your opponent isn't talking shite right? LSU has one of the best fan bases in ALL of sports, but EVERY fan base has their idiots. I think LSU's is showing theirs right now.

But it's not. Because their 11 wins were bullshite and they lost to West Freaking Virginia.
Here's the deal, Cincinnati would be a decided underdog to Texas A&M and Mississippi State. They'd be a pick 'em with Ole Miss.

It's ok to admit that Ohio State is a great team, and Lsu is a great team as well. But to reference games over 12 years ago with different players and coaching staffs is just lazy
