I notice that you have 33 posts. You also just stated that it was one of Les worst coaching decisions ever. Where have you been for the last eight years? You sir are retarded. Do us all a favor and post less.

B.S. Even it worked it was totally uncalled for. A 3 score lead in 4th quarter would have put game on ice. Assuming..... the on side kick goes Auburn's way they could have pulled the improbable upset b/c of poor coaching. However, on the bright side - it did gain almost 9 yards. That's pretty good just not when it's 4th and long. WTF? Miles being Miles. We WON! Let's look forward to Georgia and continuing out national title hopes. It's going to be another great SEC game. We need to play smarter.

I believe it was a good call. Gives future opponents something to think about and less likely to rush yo block fg attempts. Smart call. Not to mention the fact the defense was playing pretty good at the time and he trusted that they would make the stop and the offense would get good field position.

The coaches did see something but 10 yards? you take the points. Bad call and a huge momentum changer, has Les written all over it.

I think we didn't like the field condition and didn't want out FG kicker to miss and get into his own head. IDK pretty bad call otherwise.

BS.
LSU had begun to tank already, with around 4 plays either incomplete or no gain, only helped out by PI.

The O and D seemed gassed late in both halves, imo.
With AU backed up at the 6, D should be lickn their chops and it should've been easy 3 n out, not some momentum bs.

4th and 10, however, a run up the gut is risky no matter what the scenario is.

Right, the key words there are "should've been an easy three and out"...but it wasnt and it changed the momentum of the game.

Weren't you also at 33 posts at some point idiot? I'm sure you are a complete bad arse behind the computer and could totally whip my arse with your typing skills. But how about taking that attitude out in the real world where it might actually means something.

well, if dillon gordon blocks his man its a td. he whiffed on his block and that who made the tackle. and i am pretty sure it was an audible, the special temas units have the green light to make the call if teams line up in certain formations

So you can't score 24 point with three TDs and three 2-point conversions? Huh, learn something new everyday.

Now granted, it has as much probability of happening as say, a team coming back from 21 down in the fourth quarter. Tell me again about how close Auburn made it in a 14-point loss.

So the D not getting the easy stop couldn't have changed the momentum?

The momentum slant is BS anyway.
You know LSU did drive 81yds for TD right after the fake?

That's a matter of opinion, especially depending on whether it was called, or changed into by the kicking unit. Either way, three points wasn't making any difference in whether Auburn rallied or not.

They never got closer than 14 at any point after the failed fake FG. Never closer than two TDs, so it really doesn't matter about three points you are so vehemently arguing we absolutely needed.

Mayhaw I think you like Les a lot, but I still say 3 points in those conditions was the right call.

This. I didn't have a problem with it. No real harm could come of it other than the loss of 3 points.

Auburn drove 96 yards for a TD after that

So you are saying if we would have scored and kicked the ball off they wouldn't have had the same chance, if not less of one, of making that drive? The fake FG did not influence their score just ours.
