I'm in the camp that doesn't have a problem with the extension as long as the buyout isn't detrimental to the school, the greater good is sustaining the momentum we currently have with recruiting and not fricking it up and we accomplish that by assuring recruits about the status of our coach as to deter negative recruiting and poaching in-state talent, the extension sustains the upward trending of the program.
I take issue with your traitor stance though. I dont believe anyone here wants lsu to lose or O to fail. We just want whats best for lsu and a buyout could hurt lsu in the future if this thing goes south for O( which is a possibility for just about every cfb coach not named Saban and Dabo)

I hope that he gets a 3 million dollar raise and a 25 million dollar buyout just to hear the negas howling and knashing of teeth.

It’s impressive when you are 2 years removed from a losing team

You hate benga’s more than you love LSU?
Shut up Ben.

You readyy to admit O did have the 2nd most nfl draft picks? Ready to admit youre wrong, cause it would be a 1st on here.
I mean you've argued some crazy shite before.
Troy being more talented than lsu.
Your defintion of Leach's offense outweighs his own definition.

Find someone and offer them money to hug you brother.
The hate in your heart outweighs your love lsu. Thats crazy and unimaginable to the average person.

Please show us the posts from people wanting O fired.
Ive said numerous times we are a legit oc away from winning titles.
You dont know college football if you think averaging 3.5 losses and the 5th best class in the sec gets put on stable ground simply by extending 3 to 5 years. Its could be potentially detrimental to program just like it was when Miles was given the extension and buyout increase.

I know, right?
You've got multiple people trying to argue recruiting is negatively impacted by only being under contract through 2021. It's an absurd take with no basis in reality.
Every recruit worth a shite knows Orgeron will be here as long as he's winning. Plain and simple.

It won’t hurt recruiting. Nothing creates stability. A tenured coach can be fired as soon as program shuts the bed.
But if other coaches that have similar performance as O are receiving raises and extensions and o is not there is a valid reason to raise an eyebrow.

Has Herman revived one?
Took a 5-7 team year 2 won 10 games and played for the conference title.
Beat UGA in the Sugar Bowl.
Pretty good year.
5 year contract same as O
