Mizzou does this. You are in an out of COMO in like 15 minutes. I know it is not as big as BR, but you are in and out.

5) what’s the student section excuse

I don’t know about you but the amount of cars f-ing up traffic trying to come on campus is ridiculous. I park in Lot 200 and slide out the back way by those condos and I swear it’s loaded with people coming onto campus that are blocking all the 4 way stops and not a cop in sight except to screw up the stop lights.

half the stadium being there in the 4th is 50k people still

I park in 201 and also take Alaska Rd., I never understood why cars are coming towards the stadium.

The issue with the traffic the last 2 games has been the shooting incidents and rent a cops redirecting the usual flow of traffic from where I leave. I sat in 2 horrendous traffic jams the last 2 games that have only been rivaled by Bama games from the past.

How much traffic do people really miss by leaving at halftime?
Left at halftime and was parked on old front nine. Didn’t have any traffic getting back to New Orleans.

Also not helpful when one of the main points of egress looks like this.

Not a cop in sight busting that shite up.

Just do what I do. Don't leave the parking lot until 90 minutes after the game ends.

But you didn't hear as many complaints, because they were such great games and big wins; people were happy and many hung out at their car or tailgate site and savored the win a little longer.
When we had a group going, we'd arrive much earlier and park behind the Law School or over by University High School. After the game, you get right on Dalrymple going out by the Lakes and you're on I-10 West in 30 minutes. Take the Washington Street exit, make a U-Turn to be get back on I-10 going East and you're home free.
Traffic is no big deal if you prepare for it, park smartly and execute your plan after the game...........

Cars should not be allowed to park in the first block of Northgate on Gameday. Campus needs to not allow any cars on Highland that do not have parking passes six hours before kickoff. Half the battle is assholes trying to get across campus that are just driving through.

Am I off base here? What say you?
I haven't left early in a game to say otherwise but the contra flow doesn't start until after the game I thought and thats really a bigger issue.

TS was at its best in the 80's. Most games weren't on TV. 80,000 capacity ensured most people that went cared about the game more than the social event. The traffic sucked back then but I remember we would tail gate for an hour or 2 after the game and then drive home and we lived 5-10 min from where we tailgaited.

It was great in the late 90s and early 2000s. We were able to drive, park and tailgate between the Indian mounds. After games, we’d try and get autographs of players heading back to Broussard.
Now you have to pay $50 at minimum to park a mile away and are at least at $100/150 a person before you even get to your seats because of concessions and tickets.

I know people get there early morning for a night game. They are either worn out or want to get back to their tailgate. You don't see people leaving 11:00 or 2:30 games. I get some end pretty late but you only get 7-8 of these all year. I also understand if the team was 1990's bad.

We always tailgated by ceba. Had great shade and access to bathrooms. We would set up at 6-7 am and wouldn't leave til probably midnight.

People who can’t even handle traffic after a game are the sames ones screaming about a coach that they say can’t handle pressure

Traffic has always been Horible fkr decades.
It’s not the traffic.
The game is catered to hip-hop lovin kids that do t want to hear the band.
Sttdb is embarrassing.
kids take over and kill the program.

And I noticed Saturday that they’re building dorms across from CEBA in the RV lots, pushing RVs to the Box lots.
