UF had a down year but over the last 10 years they are a much better program than LSU. They've been to the CWS 7 times since 2009! But we can't expect that kind of success at LSU. You know because: it isn't the 90's, parody, that's baseball, injuries, the other team wants to win too!

If you watched the fans they really are backing that program. They have a great coach, can hit and pitch. They are going to be around for awhile.

Realistically We’re not even top 3 in the SEC West...
As to Arky, they lost 6 field players and 2/3 weekend starters off their last years CWS finals team yet they are back in Omaha and are one of the two favorites.
Next year we’re losing 5 field players and no weekend starters. Wonder how we’ll finish...

Good to see the SEC put 4, out of the 8 total teams, into Omaha. Speaks volumes about the level of play in the conference. Obviously I wish it would have been 5!

Well their football and basketball programs SUCK so I guess they need to be good at something.

And yet they are still a better program than LSU has been over the last DECADE. They are also trending in a positive direction, while LSU is stagnate. Next year will be a challenge for PM with a big roster turn over. Maybe the new blood and healthy pitchers? will bring LSU back into the top tier of the SEC.

Umm no they aren't. You are just shortsighted and all you are thinking about is these last two years. Other than these last two years Arky has underachieved bigly. You just don't follow them enough to know they have had great teams lose in their own regional a handful of times. The years they have made it to Omaha they haven't done shite. You put an emphasis on championships but don't give LSU credit for actually having a ring in the last decade and Arky having 0?

Arkansas has been to the CWS more times than LSU since 2009. To be honest 10 years is pretty much irrelevant. Over the last 5 years Arky is a much better program than LSU's under PM!
The fact we're having a debate about whether Arkansas(3rd best behind UF and Vandy) or LSU is a better program is telling. LSU is NO LONGER the premier program in the SEC much less the Nation!
