The guys say LSU has the best QB room and the best WR room in the country.
While probably not the best, I would offer the TE, LB, and S rooms look pretty darn good too (top 5) with the additions and returners.
Can't wait to watch it come together this spring and unfold this fall. Stay healthy my friends.

Looks like a major nail in the coffin for Ole Miss and Trinidad Chambless
That's a shame.....
Week 3, Sept 19, is going to be memorable.

Go be great young man. Still think we never figured out how to use him best.
Exactly. I bet he climbs up some draft boards after the combine or his LSU workout. He is an athletic freak and with the right Def Coord will contribute at a high level in the NFL. Good luck to him!

Yeah my house has def taken a hit in value but it's probably more of a correction.
Agree with your assessment. Our area on the NC coast will be revaluated this year, and it will be interesting to see if it stays relatively level or we have a modest increase. I would be surprised if we see a significant increase like the one seen in the 2022 post-COVID assessment.

I can second this he’s been one of my least favorite people in college football the last few years. But the things I hated are what makes him a great coach. And now he’s our great coach so I’m here for the ride.
Spot On! Let's enjoy it.

"Going to be an amazing day!!!"
You GEAUX Coach. Single file, no cutting in the line please, plenty of $$$ to go around OM players. All aboard the Lane Train!

re: Who was the biggest recruiting miss in LSU history?

Warrick Dunn would be on the list
The winner IMO. He was a consistent, dyanamic play maker and as noted you can't fault his choice back in 1993.

Also a believer dude is balling out with very little help.
Same! I said it another post, he reminds me of a young Josh Allen. He reads the field well, climbs the pocket to create space, will run when the opportunity is there, and is throwing some nice balls to people in stride.
Like most are saying, surround him with some upgrades (via the draft and/ro FA) to our OL and skilled position players, and this team can be VERY competitive in 2026 & beyond.
Lot of athletic potential

ust to entertain this list, this would be a dream scenario:
EDGE - Chaz Coleman
QB - Brendan Sorsby
Backup QB - Landen Clark (Elon transfer)
2 DL - Stephiylan Green (Clemson transfer) + one more TBD
5 OL - Micah Debose (Bama transfer), Alex Payne (USC transfer), + 3 more TBD
1 S - Koi Perich (Minnesota transfer) or Jordan Castell (Florida transfer)
1 CB - Bo Mascoe (Rutgers transfer) or Javon Davis (McNeese transfer)
2 RB - Kewan Lacy (Ole Miss transfer) and Carson Vargas (UC Davis transfer)
4 WR - Duce Alexander & Winston Watkins Jr. (Ole Miss transfers), Jayce Brown (Kansas State transfer), and one of:
Terrell Anderson (NC State), Jackson Harris (Hawaii), Iverson Hooks (UAB), Eugene Hilton Jr. (Wisconsin)
LIKE the list. Would love to see Parker come back at WR; he would blossom in CLKs offense. These days it makes you wonder if they enter the portal to truly leave or gain more $$$. If possible, he's a keeper.

re: MIAMI D LINE what LSU used to have
Posted by HC87 on 1/1/26 at 7:47 am to TIGERS58030719
I would offer their entire D last night played with an attitude and kept bringing the big hits. On incomplete passes, they were still sticking their helmets in the chests of OSU receivers. It was gang tackling, hard hitting and relentless ALL game, and honestly fun to watch.
OSU got challenged by a physical, fast team for the 1st time (yes Miami is different than Indiana) and they lost by 10.

Chris Fowler, smelling his own flatulence, telling everyone 'Bama better bring their 'A' game or they could be run out of the stadium'.
I would offer Indiana better do the same or a few Bama breaks/scores could get that game snowballing in the wrong direction for them and I would be very surprised if they could comeback from a big hole.
Team, Family, and finishing next week....what's not to like?!
Gotta love the culture the coaches & players are building. Now add to it with the right FAs and draft class, and go win the NFC South next season,
WHO DAT!

He’s winning with a ton of backup caliber players.
Exactly, you could argue he is single-handedly, via his play & leadership, raising the level of effort, play and results of everyone around him, The NFL is generally a one-score league and Shough is showing how to get it done,
Spot on. Right now, even as a rookie, he is making everyone around him better. Put a few quality OFF pieces around him and this team should be competitive next season.
