drone defense tech needs to have a very large budget to combat China.
THIS!

Lot a back-slapping going on in DOW for weaponized drones, and yes they are a superb complimentary weapons system. Leveraging their integration with our arty, missiles/rockets, mortars, and fixed wing/rotary wing fires makes us more lethal.

COUNTER-UAS tech/systems are a must to protect our critical assets (flight line aircraft, ships, personnel, etc.). This is going to be our Pearl Harbor if we are not prepared for it. We already have unidentified sUAS's flying over some of our military installations and we must become more capable & resilient to ID, track and engage them.

It is continues to be true, GOOD things happen when you throw strikes.

Our military never lost it.

I would go with LF. You don't need the big arm to make throws to 2b & 3b. In the pros you will often see a 'lesser' OF defender put in LF. Mets moved Soto there this offseason.
No doubt, trust the CJJ process. Honestly we had some well hit balls last night, they just didn't find grass. Curiel and J. Brown immediately come to mind. It's a scrappy lineup and I bet the put more runs on the board Saturday & Sunday.

Built, maybe. Maintained, negative.

Whatever it is

What it is.....is a total waste of taxpayer money. While it remains to be seen if contributions cover the cost (like all that money from DOGE & tariffs no one can tell us where it goes/went), the expense to maintain it - heat it, cool it, etc in perpetuity is beyond what is needed at the White House.

I rather see those funds go somewhere else....like purchasing counter-UAS systems for all our military installations to avoid the rampant unknown flyovers.

244lbs moving at 4.46 in the 40. That is a bad man bringing the wood. He is going to make some DEF a lot nastier.

Doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. He needs every opportunity to show he can play linebacker at the next level, a good combine showing could’ve jumped him into 2-3rd round contention.

Agreed, he got bad advice. He could have shown out against EVERY GUY he is competing against to be drafted. Stand toe to toe with the competition and show them how you stack up.

While he'll do the events at the LSU Pro Day, it's not the same IMO when you are trying to move up rounds and make $$$. Hope he puts on a show at the Pro Day to help himself.....

Let's go 2 for 2 - Lane Kiffin and Will Wade.

Imagine, Kiffin and Wade on the same campus. Everyone will love us.
Sure, why the heck not!

Data Center resource use?

The data center resource requirements, as it applies to electricity & water consumption, is an interesting issue. Studies are showing surrounding communities are paying more for their utilities where these centers are being established.

I attended a town hall this past Saturday AM where our local district State Senator (REP) spoke about this topic. He said our NC legislature is looking at ways to hold these data centers accountable for enhancing the infrastructure requirements, similar to what is required for a home development when it comes to water run-off, streets, etc. I hope they are successful.

This is an item I hope does not get 'wished away' as it will impact communities if it is not developed properly.

what a difference a year makes

Spot on! You really have to like the path this team is on. A solid Draft & FA class, with our 4th place schedule in the NFC South, can put us squarely in playoff contention.

Yep, especially when you walk 6 and hit 5 mcneese batters.....
Clean it up boys.

"Whats more important with both of these guys(gestures at Schmidt and Curiel) is to say 'Im going to college'. Because plenty of these guys that you never hear of, they take the 2 million bucks and nobody ever hears of them again. With these guys, they are now 2 of the premier players in college baseball at the best program in college baseball. And they're going to have long careers after LSU because of how well they are developing here. and also becoming even better people than they are players. and i'm honored to coach them while I can."

We are damn lucky to have CJJ leading our program.

Seeing our oline starters is the 1st thing that I'll be observing.

IF this group comes together it will set the conditions for a complete OFF capable of pounding the rock AND protecting our QB so he can deliver the ball on time to a dynamic group or WRs and arguably the best pass-catching TE in college football.

STRONG lineup with Braun looking to be inserted when/where CJJ desires.
