The only way Bama gets back in is if we lose to one of these last SEC teams. This is where we need to keep our guard up both with our motivation and our prep, and with watching the shady shite on the part of the SEC to let the Gumps back door the playoffs. I feel this in my gut 100%

Guys...I get that it is the first week's rankings but its utterly stupid...why would you ever put a top 4..this week or the last week of the season, where 2 of the top four will play and one will knock the other out. Pick one. Beating a dead horse here but it makes zero sense to me. Game hype and bs....

Does kinda sucks that if we win we have a much tougher rode to championship. No Sec game for bama and straight to playoffs. 2 rematches for LSU...hard enough beating them much less twice.

If Bama makes the playoff after losing to us than the playoff is horrible and fixed nothing.
As it stands right now. Bama has beat one top 25 team who just lost to MSU. If we both win out their only good win is vs MSU, who could finished the season unranked.
If clemson wins out they are clearly in.
If Notre Dame wins out they are clearly in
SEC champ likely in, even with 1 loss.
Last spot (assuming LSU wins out) comes down to
Big Ten champ ohio state/Michigan
Big 12 champ likely Texas.
Bama
UCF
The big ten champ will have a win over a top 10 team or possible two.
Texas will have a win over Oklahoma
Bama win over Mississippi State.

The eye test cost us a title in 2011. We would have beaten OSU but because of the “eye test” we had to play Bama again.
The eye test also cost penn state (big 10 champ) and Ohio State (big 10 champ) a shot at the playoff, and allowed Bama to win the national championship without winning their own conference or even their own division.
