Even if I agreed with that, which I don't, that still wouldn't mean that he is on the hotseat NOW, which is what a lot of people seem to believe.

I agree it is total crap. Tim Brando always talks about how the Internet and Sports Radio has changed college sports. This is a perfect instance. People who didn't know better would come here and think that all of LSU hates Miles and he is a dipshit.

I don't think he is an idiot, and I also think that there are some glaring coaching mistakes made sometimes, but a hot seat does not exist here.

I usually give his radio call in show about as much credit as I gave President Bush's post 2004 speeches. But he absolutely nailed it when he said he wasn't going to apologize for a 4-0 record.

but the people who matter (president, chancellor, AD, etc.) definitely don't share this view.

Which one of these are you, since you seem to have the inside scoop and know what the administration is thinking? Is it you Joe?

Miles being gone after 3 5 loss seasons is based on this program paying him ungodly amounts of money, for such shite performances, the heirarchy here won't put up with it.

where the hell are these three 5 loss seasons coming from.

Not yet, but give it another 5 loss year or two and it will be very hot. LSU's fans have grown accustomed to having an elite team.

I'm not asking you for your opinion. That's the point of this thread. I'm asking you what signs have you ever seen from anyone in power at LSU that even remotely hints that Les Miles is on the hotseat now, or that virtually anything he does (within reason, not going 0-fer the year) would put him on the hotseat. Two years from now is a different story. There are those that think he is on the hot seat now, or will be if we lose to Georgia. It's crazy, actually.

Well, that certainly would be the case. But some people have that already in their heads like it has happened. Until the guy starts having losing SEC records over and over, let's not act like it has already happened.

These are the folks that wanna be able to say "I told you so". I'm kind of negative on this team based on the past 4 games, but I want to eat crow.

We go 8-5 this year, and similiar next year, he is gone, period.
So you agree that he's not on a hot seat. I mean, if Urban Meyer goes 0-8 to finish this year, then 0-12 next year, he'll be fired. HES ON THE HOT SEAT

Who do they think he's on the "hotseat" with? Seriously?
