Les spent the whole off season saying how things were going to be different, then we start the game running up the middle like always

Actually we dropped back to pass the ball 4 of the 1st 6 plays.

I believe if we dont try to pass the ball as much as we did during that game,we probably win. We rushed for 4.3 ypc and Harris' 2 ints were back breaking.

I don't think he was implying we lost to both Arkansas and Ole Miss in the same season multiple times, but it's not dishonest to say Les laid some duds to both of those teams. And why stop at eight seasons? Les got beat by both Arky and OM following good games against Alabama in 2008 and 2015.

The best coaches in the entire sport lose to an inferior team every year.
The greatest coach of our generation has all of 1 season where he didnt lose to an inferior team.

Re CLM, and I agree, it is time to move on, but over the wkend B.McFarland, on one of the college game day shows, said that one thing Coach O would do was to re-establish contact with the high school coaches in La. He said that CLM, in the past 3 years, went to no more than 3 high schools in the state for recruiting/contact purposes. That does not ring true, as I thought CLM had great relationships with the State's high school coaches. Anyone have any real knowledge to share?

Alleva pulled it last season. FKA and JBE were the ones who backed out. I do not know why this is still the perception

Im out of state now so I wouldn't know but its not out of the ordinary for a cfb hc to rub some high school coaches the wrong way during an 11 year tenure.

I may be mis-remembering, but I'm nearly positive the first two plays were toss dives. We might've thrown the next 4 plays though, but the point remains that very early in that game it was clear nothing at all changed.

2 losses a year in the west maximum with an average of 1.5 to 1.75 max over a 4 year span.

Looking at CLM's record its obvious it was trending down and it would not have supprised me if we had stayed with him .500 would be the best we could hope for.

we took Bama into the 4th and gave them all they wanted.

I said it before. I'll say it again.

No team would play LSU with 100% confidence.

We were monkeys with guns.

I love down voting people who work against our program, and then gripe when it falls short of their expections !
