I'm pretty sure I'm going tonight.
I got there around 6:20 and they were already in the 4th inning. It was good to be out there again. I plan on going Saturday.

They probably started in the 4th inning.

With the score 1-0 Purple.
Even though I missed the start it was a nice night at The Box. 2/17 can't come soon enough.
ETA: all kidding aside about it not being ready, it doesn't look like the interior of the new suites farthest from homeplate (i.e. the last one on each side) are going to ready in 8 days. Gonna be close.

Purples first run was in the 4th.

Was a bit chilly (but that could have been b/c I wore shorts and a t-shirt), but yea it's nice to be able to watch baseball again. I thought Goody looked pretty good on the mound tonight for the half inning he was out there

The kid who pitched the bottom of the ninth did awful. Straight up rocked.

Yea, I hope Goody is as good as advertised. Moore got a hit off of him tonight. Moore was 2 for 3 at the plate.

I didn't see the 4th either. Just saw it on the scoreboard.
Anyone know if Jones is nicked up.

Bonvillain (sp?) was his name... I'm guessing he's not gonna see much PT based on tonight

My only chance to make a practice is Sunday.....when the high temp is 52 !

I came away pretty unimpressed last night. I don't want to be a debbie downer so i'll leave it at that.

i saw 5 errors and 4 or so wild pitches over a 3 inning stretch. i realize they're in the field twice as much when playing themselves but it looked really sloppy. Granted some were by reserves.
eta: oh yeah and a balk.

ah, okay, a little troublesome, but if its by reserves this early, i'm not worried

just going off memory
one was by a second baseman with no name on is his back. #17.
one by evan powell
one by hanover
one by snickeris i think
cant remember the fifth, may have been on an overthrow from the outfield allowing runners to advance
the kid in the 9th had 3 of the wild pitches. his name was stated earlier but i already forgot it
gausman had the balk, he just dropped the ball.
also katz got beaned in either the foot or shin in the 9th. the way he was walking it didnt look like it was in the shoe. he appeared to be in significant pain. but nothing that would keep him out for an extended period of time.

He bobbled a ball getting it out of his glove and then threw poorly to 1B trying to recover.
bbap, this was #17? I was doing more visiting than paying attention obviously.

It was right on his foot... I had a good angle from where I was sitting, I'm sure he'll be fine, but I know from experience that taking a pitch to the foot is never fun
