yah, oregon wooped up on a sec defense when we smoked tennessee last year, but Auburns D was a different story, i can admit that, guess well see how it all plays out on saturday!

nah, i actually like this board, i find it entertaining, but any time someone challenges you guys on something, or even asks a simple question, it just turns into name calling, and responses like " we compete in the sec" " the last 5" , or funny arse excuses like hes a pocket passer not a dual threat guy, hell even a decent pocket passer can manage not to get -166 yards rushing in his carreer.

you have literally ignored every mature response ITT, so what do you expect. seriously, just respond to one with some sort of analytical rebuttal

Meh. You do know sacks count against rushing yards and not passing yards? This isn't the NFL...

Tennessee and Auburns defenses last year weren't that impressive. If he is able to light up the LSU defense come this weekend, I'll have gained more respect for them.

Think AU defense, plus waaaaaay better DB's. That's what you'll see in 5 days.

No, not every post. You just want it to seem that way.

Even LSU gained over 400 yards on them last year

Peyton Manning Rushing Statistics at Tennessee:

Freshman: 21 Attempts, -26 yards
Sophomore: 41 Attempts, 6 yards
Junior: 42 Attempts, -131 yards
Senior: 49 Attempts, -30 yards
Total: 153 Attempts, -181 yards

Peyton Manning must not have been a decent pocket passer because he had negative "rushing" yards.

I am in no way comparing Peyton to Lee. What I am doing, to spell it out for you Quackshit, is use your extremely flawed logic to disprove what everyone else has already done for me.

You suck troll. Leave this site and come back Sunday morning.

i wasnt trying to insult jarrett lee when i put the stats up, i was just trying to figure out why alot of people on here are saying he is gonna light oregon's D up, we have a extremely good secondary even without cliff harris, he didnt even start the whole season last year!

your question has been answered several times throughout the thread, but you continue to ignore all those posts and focus on the flames you came in here to get. i think i saw one post where someone actually predicted lee to light up oregon's d, so i'm not sure where you're getting this "a lot of people" idea in your head.

Probably coming in guns blazing insulting all the LSU fans was a horrible start. All the hostility in this thread is directly because of you insulting people.

Really?

quote:

DT has 13 starts, Lee has 9. The bulk of Lee's stats are from his freshman year. The bulk of DT's are from his junior year on a national title game team with a heisman finalist running back to help out.

quote:

Lee hasn't started a game in over 2 years, so using his career stats that consist mainly of what he did his redshirt freshman year in 2008 is a pretty retarded way of judging him

quote:

The whole logic of this thread is flawed. I think he lights you up because, regardless of you saying y'all rotate 25 players on defense, the Taft remains that you lost like 7 of your top ten tacklers from last year and 5 of your front 7. You also lose cliff Harris, who was your pick 6 machine, and yes I know you have depth at CB.
But your fans have already said how they're going to stack the box to make us beat you with the pass.

quote:

Thomas is a system qb. He fits oregons offense like a glove. The qb position on oregons team is far more important than on lsu's team. Lsu wins on defense, running game, and speacial teams.

quote:

again, that was his FRESHMAN year. he's thrown 2 picks in his last 129 attempts (none returned for a TD),

quote:

Once again, the guy hasn't thrown a pick 6 since 2008

Did Lee just not play football in 09 or 10 according to you

Now back to the Oregon boards where you belong little fella

Lsu is gonna run 70% of the time. Lee isn't lighting anyone up...
