I don't. That Socialist bastard... He did love LSU, though.

that's a pretty impressive plan. If LSU could someday be remotely close to what this plan is striving towards, it would be a one of a kind school.
and on a side note, I noticed the Master Plan no longer includes the Acacia, SAE, EN, and TKE houses

Yes, the south endzone will probably be closed in within the next 5-7 years. I dont know what the extra capacity would be, but the demand for suite level/stadium club seats are so great that it will happen sooner than many think.

Construction will begin by 2010

How long will construction take approximately? would it interfere with the season in any way?

Didn't notice that till you just said that, pretty funny. Seeing as how they're going to move the road, those guys seem SOL

the crappy non-conference games are such a turn off. If you live in BR maybe but to travel from out of town for the crappy games we've scheduled lately is a bummer.

Nice job, but the addition hopefully will cover up that terrible north endzone addition from way back. It looks cheap and I never understood why they did not do it exactly like the south endzone?

What are the odds that River Road ever gets turned into a four lane highway? There's more and more construction going on there as you get south of campus. (north of campus on RR is another story altogether...)

i heard we have problems keeping fans there till half, so it will look even worse on tv now.

It'll be much like the upper west project a few years go. It'll start immediately following a season (I keep hearing 2010) and take 18 months to complete, so it'll be under construction during one season (2011).

No
North will never be closed in. New video board only

I would love to see both endzone uppers built and connect the west & east upper sections. That would give alot more people the chance at season tickets

It'll never happen in the north endzone. Have you ever asked why the upper east and west sides are off center and curves towards the south and not the north?
They knew a long time ago an upper north deck was not possible.

They can't to the north because the support structure would be right on top of north stadium drive.
Anything can be done. They can dig a hole and concrete the hell out of it and design huge beems for support and have the street paved going right in between the structure. Or, build a tunnel, or close the frigging street. I see crazy shite being built in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, islands in the ocean, indoor ski facility with ski lifts, the worlds biggest malls, Dubailand- twice the size of Disneyland. Unreal golf courses, 7 star hotels, an underwater hotel in the sea.
After all of this, LSU can figure out how to support an upper deck and re-route the road or run it between the specially designed structure. Or, design it to where it stays far enough away from the PMAC.

Sure, if they have enough money? But we're not going to do that or renovate the dorms (I wish we could) because it's not worth the costs.

I like this idea, but I wish they'd clean up the stadium before making it bigger.
