The two screens are different in the back due to the design and layout of the existing stadium.
yep, the press box on the west also adds to that illusion

This is Field Turf and what they have on the Practice Field.

The east side was actually nestled in behind the already existing ramp.
I'm not sure if we are talking about the same ramp, but if you are referring to the ramp at the Southeast corner, then you're incorrect. That ramp was built when they built the East Upper.
The EU was "nestled" in between the stadium and field house drive. That is why the footprint of the EU is a lot smaller than the footprint of the WU.

I know that, and I edited my post to be more clear. I changed "east side" to "The east side of the SEZ addition".

They have multiple practice fields and I believe only the indoor and 1 of the 4 outdoor fields are Field Turf.

So basically, there is a lack of symmetry. Not saying it will look bad, just doesn't look correct at this point in time.

I think all of us agree with that!

it's very difficult to have a stadium that has been pieced together over 100 years with numerous different expansions to be symmetrical all the way around. Compared to stadiums of the same situation, I think Tiger Stadium looks better than most. There's only so much you can do, and I will say this expansion looks better than anything we've done since Tiger Stadium was a horseshoe.

This. But as far as doing what a stadium is supposed to do, namely seat fans in comfort with good sightlines, no stadium does it better.
Easy to get to and from your seat...plenty of exits. Lots of chair back seats, more than any other stadium in the SEC. And all the seats are pretty close to the field.
Even the new expansion seats are no farther away than the first few rows of the sideline upper decks:
Best fan experience in the SEC!

If going to see George Strait play at Tiger Stadium makes you a redneck, then consider me white trash.

I am not saying this as a joke and I am currently working in Saudi on a Project. I cannot see all the work that is remaining but I see enough to think that there is at least 6 months of work remaining. We will see as it gets closer to completion but I think they will be working up to the last day and more.

The announcement of the turf was apparently pushed back to Monday. Have some stuff to work out before the announcement.
