Since there aren't many posters who have been to many games at both Tiger Stadium and Beaver Stadium to accurately compare, how about an internal SEC matchup? Which is louder Tiger Stadium or Florida?

Don't recall the writer but someone (Mandel?) compared the OSU-PSU atmosphere in '07 with '07 UF-LSU. His comment was something along the lines of PSU was loud at the start but then faded whereas Tiger Stadium was rocking the entire game.

Well, we whooped em in 07, so understandably it got quieter.

FWIW, I dont know which stadium was built to hold noise better, but after seeing the crowd empty out during the Arky game, Im gonna say PSU.

i was in Pa two months ago and went on campus (doe hunting) and went to the stadium. The stadium is okay, it lacks the old school, tradition feel that TS has inside and out. The tailgating is too organized (specific spots) and surroundings didn't do it for me. i tried my damdest to get an LSU hat on the Joe Pa statue in front, but the security guards came my way and starting asking questions. IMO, TS all the way.

I never doubted TS, and always read the criticisms on here with a grain of salt. And then the Auburn game this year came along.

That shite was embarrassing. We had a week without a game, and they're in the west, and it was at night, and they don't suck.

But campus was dead all day, and the stadium atmosphere sucked, and the weather was great, and the fans didn't stick around to watch us actually dismantle a team for the first time since Va Tech '07.

I've never been as pissed off leaving a game.

I was at PSU vs OSU in 05. I was at LSU vs FL 07.
Both are distinct.
PSU does the whiteout very well.
LSU is probably louder.

Always a factor and I don't know the storyline of the tOSU-PSU game, but in '07 UF had the lead until about a minute to go in the game and TS never let up.

Been to Beaver Stadium many times and to Tiger Stadium (sadly) only a handful of times. The difference is that when LSU fans are at their best, NOBODY can touch them, but they can get quiet. PSU are more consistent, but they can't touch LSU at their best.
