I actually thought this kid was trolling but it's obvious the OP is just ignorant. A college band at a college baseball game? And it's a great idea under the guise of being trend setting? Skip used it when he was still building the program, in only happened a few times, and he never used it again.The day LSU baseball needs a band to provide energy and intensity at its games is a sign the program is falling apart. This is college baseball at its best, across the board. Not a video game.

That's why guillot would need to incorporated with band. Possibly as director or they play to the cadence of his cheers. Would be superb.

I don't even see what the big deal is with the band director he mainly just goes through the motions when the band plays. Chris Guillot would have a really hard time fitting into a band suit thou and in the summer he would have a major case of the swamp arse. Have y'all seen him out at bogies knocking back brews bc i know for a fact i saw him lurking out there in years past. He must have been in a frat. Does anyone know what frat he pledged?

Me and 2chains? Nah we are just bros. We pledged the same frat. We actually could have a band at the games but I think we should make some phone calls and get it pushed up the ladder or maybe do some campaigning for it to get the word out on campus to push for this to happen. Get samples of the songs we think that we should incorporate into what the band plays so they can have a good idea how good of an idea it is to have just every once in a while.

You ever been to a baseball game? The pace of play is in no way conducive to firing people up throughout a full game.

Do you have any suggestions as to what would be easy for the band to incorporate that would mesh well with songs that we pipe in during the games. The WO songs now are garbage honestly not one attempt to get the crowd up. No wagon wheel or chicken fried etc

That's what I am saying I am not saying blast the band throughout the game just have some every now and then tunes that don't seem forced during the ball game to play that have some appeal like shook me all night long etc to get the players up to go to bat and take the field
