Plus, you would think after 2 of O's elite recruiting classes, his 3rd year would've shown substantial improvement. How did his 3rd year go again?
Its mind blowing. Space Cowboy has done nothing but shite on miles with his football ignorant opinions from the day he joined TD and he has the nerve to get upset when posters present facts about Ed Orgeron's career.

Actually you won't find one at LSU with a better W% since facemasks.
Depends on your metric for elite I guess.
Right. My bar for elite maybe lower than yours. Thats why i list accomplishments. Accomplishments arent defending or bashing a coach. They are facts and there isnt a coach, on any level) that would choose fans' opinions of being a great coach over the resume and accomplishments of a coach that isn't considered elite.

You can't lump coach O in with the roster from 2 years prior to his arrival at Ole Miss and still say Miles didn't win his 07 title with Sabans players that's a double standard. Btw coach Os 3 seasons at Ole Miss weren't close to the worst era in that schools history. When you say things like this you're not simply stating facts these things you keep saying arnt even true. So in fact you are shitting on him and you're using false info and nothing but opinion to do it.

Well thank you Captain Obvious? Lol

We did and Etling could not complete simple passes under pressure.

But please for the love of god, if it goes South I hope we pull the plug quickly.
Look, I totally agree. I have defended O to this point, but will gladly break out the torches and pitchforks if he doesnt get the job done soon!!!!
The difference is, I'm at least willing to wait til the season starts to crucify him.

If thats what you call embarrassment then what do you call Ed Orgeron's career as a head coach?
Getting fired 4 games into a season is embarrassing. If you dont think it is, I cant help you.

I keep hoping that Miles gets another opportunity as head Coach and this will prove once and for all what an average coach at best he is. I just don't know if there is an AD desperate enough to give this guy an opportunity.

as long as Nick Saban is coaching at Bama this will always continue.

Embarrassing? His last 5 full seasons have more top 16 finishes than Saban had ranked finishes during his tenure at lsu.
Embarrassing is having losing seasons and multiple unranked finishes.
"embarrassing" is going 15-11 in the SEC (10-10 against the West) his last 3 full seasons plus his part of 2016.

quote:Well, when you have a retard of a coach, what the hell can one say in defense. This fool would probably line his team up and try and run them through a stone wall. lol Just glad it's over now and LSU football can return to being fun again. I was miserable watching them under Miles. They are people out there that like that kind of football, but not me. I loved watching a rare talent of a runningback like LF run, but there is just something really excited about passing a football like there is no tomorrow, and with the kind of WR's that LSU stockpiles. Well, let's just say they were being wasted, but so talented they still couldn't be denied the NFL. Miles was a nice guy, but good riddance!
"They just kept running ball, even though we had 8 men in the box."

Or Copeland giving it up on the goal line in 13. I think our momentum would've propelled us to a win

You shouldn't have to wait on the hope a 63 year old man gets another job to prove your pointless point.
There's plenty of stats out there (W/L%, NC app and rings, etc, etc) for comparison to his peers.

What if I told you that Nutts recruiting classes were better than Os? How's that make you feel?
I'd feel okay as you would just further confirm to me that you are incredibly retarded.

Some people keep saying that, but didn't that happen at the beginning of that game?? I don't think that would have made any difference because momentum goes back and forth throughout the course of a game. Much to much time to decide a game and of course LSU's problem was being so predictable on offense that it wouldn't matter imo anyways.

Thank you I believe all know this by now.
Stoopud talent matheiu could have cememnted a heisnan as second db winner ever ahh. Les miles good riddance you could recruit your arse off though.

Avg - 25
Nutt
2008 - 38
2009 - 17
2010 - 15
2011 - 20
Avg - 22.5
Please just stop.

-2 in TO is pretty hard to overcome vs Bama though.

The sacks show up as rushes in stats, but in 2nd half there was like a 4-1 pass/run play selection ratio, so predictability was all in the passing game.
