I can't believe people haven't caught on that you're honestly a paid shill that gets paid by the post. That's why you don't post on any other board with this profile b/c it's easier to track your sales.
That's absolutely why you reply to every poster, & i hope people stop engaging you and your disingenuous Miles infomercials.

Spin it however makes you feel better I don't mind I'm use to you guys rejecting reality.
Posted on 5/11/17 at 8:29 pm to Madking
Madking don't feel bad there are those that would prefer to underachieve with Miles year in and year out, never reaching and playing to our potential than succeed with anybody else!!! This is really sad !!!

I love how any one Not on the Coach O bandwagon is obviously a miles lover and wishes he was still here.
Perhaps they both suck?
Perhaps they both suck?

I've never seen a fan base have such a problem with FACTS that paint their program in a positive light.
Posters doing nothing but shitting on miles with opinions is fine but when someone posts facts about miles and his tenure his frowned upon.
I dont know if you've realized this or not but there are no "Pro" miles posters starting threads about him.
There are no "Pro "miles posters bringing him up in threads that have nothing to do with him.

Who knew someone could underachieved into one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history, let alone lsu history.
I swear some of you people really believe Miles' tenure wasnt great or you have no clue about lsu history.

You're just talking out of your arse.
If miles was the only thing holding them back then why did it take 4 years to match the wins of a shite coach like miles?

There's no way you believe half of the stuff you post here. Anyone with common sense that follows LSU football along with national pundits who are paid to follow college football agree that les severely underachieved in his last 4 years with the talent present in this program. He wouldn't take his hands off of the offense and ultimately, it cost him his job. His early years (05-11) were some of the most enjoyable years this program has ever seen. After 1/9/12, he was never the same coach. I'm thankful for the good times, but won't miss what he gave us at the end of his tenure.

He has the best W% of any LSU coach in the last 100 yrs, WTF?

I refuse to carry the les miles baton, but some of these guys are going to quickly realize how difficult it is to find a coach that consistently wins 10 games a year.

If one actually researches LSU FB, he soon realizes Miles wasn't so bad after all.
See LSU Media Guide for enlightenment.

Upvote.
They honestly think anyone in football(besides miles of course) can come to LSU and dominate. I'm sure texas, usc, and Notre dame thought that same thing when their best coach left.

You clearly havent followed the nfl draft. In 2015 lsu had 4 players drafted and 5 drafted in 2016.
6 different sec programs either equaled or surpassed the number of lsu players drafted in 2015& 2016. But hey why let facts get in the way of your football ignorant opinion.

After 1/9/12, he was never the same coach
Again, 2012-2016 had 1 less top 15 finishes as the previous combined seasons from 1987-2005.
You people clearly don't pay attention to be nfl draft or have loose grasp of lsu football history.

but won't miss what he gave us at the end of his tenure.
Do you want to guess how many sec programs had 4 10 win seasons from 2011-2015?
Do you want to take a guess at how many sec programs habe finished in the top 16 4 of the last 5 years?
The list begins and ends with 2 names.
It was time for Miles to go but if you think 2011-2015 was some shite era of lsu football then you clearly have zero knowledge of lsu history.

They honestly think lsu recruits itself. That's the problem with some of these posters. They think just any coach couldve had the talent Miles had.
I havent seen anyone deny that a better game day coach wouldve had more success with the talent Miles had. The problem is they think getting talent at lsu is given and anyone can do it when we have our entire history proving them wrong.
There is also a portion of posters on here that truly believe winning 10 games is easy when facts prove them wrong.
99% of cfb programs cant win 9 games every year.
Posted on 5/12/17 at 9:49 am to Rickdaddy4188
Modern day LSU does recruit itself, at least to a degree. The same can be said for Alabama, Ohio State etc. While it's true that the lifeblood of a program is recruiting, winning consistently makes recruiting easier. Maybe Wilson and Orgeron were the reasons we were able to continue to get recruits, in spite of what was happening on the field. Players knew the depth of our offensive ineptitude. The defense knew they were taking on mission impossible, as it were, with little offensive support. You give Miles all the credit for pulling these kids in. I see it as though the kids were brought in by Wilson and Orgeron and Miles sealed the deal. I guess nobody will know but to act like LSU doesn't recruit itself to a degree is ludicrous.

I continue to go back to, USC and Texas in 2005 had just many built in advantages as LSU has today, if not more. And they sure have been on the upslope.
And they play in less competitive conferences.
College football is a tough business to stay on top of.

It's been a sprinkling of trench talent since, and all that star power is mostly skill /defensive positions that are difficult to ride all the way to NCs.
Short version is LSU may recruit itself, but not at some of the most important positions.

All of this cause Tim Williams stated the fact that LSU kept running the ball with 8 men in the box!!!!(which GD thinks is great strategy)I remember us playing Miss ST scouting report, stout, very good front 7 , secondary ranks among the worst in the Nation!! so what does ol Les do? Runs into there strength.//// WITHOUT the highest paid Coaching staff and great D Coordinators this clown would have been exposed from day 1. He is C Hallman with great facilities and a big budget for a coaching staff!!!! I'm sorry but this clown, GD is pushing his Miles Crush and love affair agenda to damn far. Nobody gets fired for being as great as GD is TRYING to make Miles out to be. SO GREAT and can't get a job.

If you're saying some kids grow up wanting to play at lsu then fine but the program doesnt recruit itself. No program recruits itself. If they did then Texas would always be top 5.

Yeah we had so much trouble getting offensive recruits. The fact that you believe that shite is telling.

It doesn't and we have our entire history to prove it.
