Re the morals issue, it is not just about his cheating on his wife. He was sitting in the dugout, while the action was going, texting his girlfriend. To the extent the AD had someone counting & timing the texts he was making. Many coaches have cheated; how many have done something this dumb and this counter - productive to the betterment of his team? Too, as noted above, there was a LOT of chatter about his replacement having to spend weeks teaching the basics while the season was upon them. The players had no respect for him because of his dugout antics. Any recruiting success he had at LSU was largely because of the letters LSU across his chest.

Yes I do think that is a very good possibility! LSU is like Bama in recruiting we can usually get who we want! That makes coaching sooooooo much easier when your players are better than their players! I think with LSU's ability to draw the top of the top guys in recruiting along with AC's ability to recruit and coach, that winning 3 NC's in AC's first decade of coaching at LSU would be a definite possibility!
