Incorrect. "Pwning" is a variant of "pwn", which is a short for "power own"

Other variants include the following
Pwned
Pwnage
Pwning
Pwned in your eye
Pwned sauce
etc.

Actually people from Lafayette are usually very good natured compared to some other parts of the state. Those who went to LSU and not ULL do not buy into the crap that ULL fans try to start about LSU; not worth it and what's the point? The guy following Cutrera around probably was trying to get some scoop on the program to share on this board? Last time I was home and went to Red's there was a lot more LSU gear than when I lived there back in the 90's. Was nice to see!
