Wow!

How many teams jump five spots in one year?

I truly hope youre kidding with posts like this.

But to answer your post that is sensationalizing a hypothetical situation that won't ever happen (just to make Matt Mcmahon look a tiny bit better): about 15 to 25 teams do it every season.
Win number 3 in the SEC, against a team on a 10 game losing streak, in double overtime. What a fricking winner.

This thread reminds me of when Dalton Beck had that big hit against Tennessee and everyone on this board acted like he was going to be a huge part of the team and then he just never really got any more PT…

Nobody thought Dalton Beck was going to be a big part of last years team 18 games into SEC play.

What is even more impressive Jay Johnson achieved this even after season ending injuries to Dylan Crews, Kade Anderson and Paul Skenes. Amazing job of surviving those injuries.

I hate to tell you, but Jalen Reed isn't even close to comparable to Crews, Anderson, or Skenes.

And Mcmahon wouldve lost all of the same games with Dedan Thomas.

They lost by 14 to Mississippi State with Thomas on the floor. Let's keep rehashing that injury excuse though. Maybe Jalen Reed would've added two more SEC wins to McMahon's win totals the last two years.

Dumb. You have no clue what you are talking about.

2016–17 Murray State 16–17 8–8 3rd (West)

2020–21 Murray State 13–13 10–10 T–5th
2021–22 Murray State 31–3 18–0 1st NCAA Division I Round of 32
Murray State: 153–67 (.695) 93–31 (.750)

You're full of shite.

It was easy to see Golden was the better option and LSU let Florida ride in and take him with little to no effort put in to hire him. As soon as Golden was no longer a possibility, Mcmahon was hired instantly.

As the hire was made it still felt like a major loss for LSU. You hosed Will Wade. You had the opportunity to get, what looked like, a great replacement, and you ended up with Mcmahon.

It was easy to see that most of his head coaching success came from an unbelievable college player in Ja Morant.

In his one truly great season without Ja, 2021-2022, the team rode KJ Williams' historic season and played some ugly/defensive basketball at times.

But you do you man. Keep acting like everyone else is crazy when they call Matt Mcmahon what he truly is, a joke.

There was talk about Todd Golden as well. Florida hired Golden March 18th, 2022 and LSU hired Mcmahon three days later on the 21st.

Even then you could tell Mcmahon was going to turn out awful.
2-11 in the SEC. 16-51 Overall.

Let's quit acting like injuries are the problem.

Thanks.

*No response from Ben
Primeaux/Fontenot changing the game in 2/3rd of an inning.
Curiel hasn't looked the same so far this season. Hopefully he comes around quickly.

Last year he was on base nearly every at bat it seemed.

Gonna really pop next to that independence bowl logo on the football jersey!

Are you talking about one of Ole Miss' top three bowl destinations?

Ole Miss has 5 appearances at the Independence bowl.

Just a suggestion:

1. Legalize cocaine in all SEC states.
2. Do away with speed limits in all SEC states.

If so, Kirby will finish with more nattys than Saban.

If you do this and let Widespread Panic play a three night run in Athens once a month, Athens might be up in flames by October.

Legal cocaine and a 2nd Panic in the streets does sound fun though.
68% percent FT shooting center Okot, 4-4 from the line.

What were Richard and Flaujae's totals?
Good god.... those two missed free throws were the nail. That's awful.
South Carolina's center Okot shooting better from the line than both Flaujae and Richard during this game. It's the difference.

Richard and Fulwiley both having a no show tonight.

What is this huge fricking break before the free throws?
47.1% tonight.

8/17

shite's ridiculous.
South Carolina looks under control on the offensive end and LSU doesn't.
