Yes let's get a guy with one year of head coaching experience to go up against the Sabans of the world. Makes perfect sense

A few have said Chip Kelly does not like to recruit.

He's only said that he hated recruiting at Oregon.

LSU passed on another young football genius years ago.

the word football and genius should not be used in the same sentence. he may be Mensa and has had one good year but I think we should know more about him. knowing this board, they like him only because he runs a wide open offense and bother themselves with no other details.

Yeah it might sound like a great hire but he would just turn out to be a mirror image of Kevin Sumlin IMO... Sumlin got lucky one year at A&M with a slap dik Johnny Football and look where they are now.

Are you talking about the same Steve Spurrier who Miles never lost to? Or perhaps the Steve Spurrier who Miles just made quit the game of football? Yep, great analogy...let's find coaches who aren't as good as Miles to replace him because...reasons.

Miles really wasn't some great coach when we hired him

Pehaps not considered a great coach, but Miles was a very successful P5 coach that led a program at a big-time level for a number of years. Herman has 1 year of experience as the CEO.

He was like 25-20

Eta: looked it up.. 28-21 and 16-16 in conference, so stop with very successful at big time level talk
