don't forget the pick six or two when comparing them, especially the one to start the game

(JL had much better passing stats. JL cost us 14 points JJ cost us 11. Lee threw for 287 yards and 3 TD's. JJ threw for 210 and 0 TD's)

You left something out!

JL -LOSS

JJ- WIN

Are u that dumb. I am guessing you are guesstimating points left on the field by JJ. Well, if you do that go back to all the points left on the field by by lee and count his pick 6's. LSU is 5-0 and i know u are sick.

Apparently when Charles Scott can't convert a 3rd and 1, this is Jefferson's fault.

I love how MSU Tiger claims Lee cost the team 14 points, while Jefferson cost the team 11. Of course, Lee threw two pick 6's and a third that set up a field goal, while Jefferson is getting blamed for the team not getting 3rd and 1 running plays.

This thread was to make my point JJ isnt that good. I unfortunately accomplished that. I was hoping I would look like a douche when I lost.

You forgot a KEY stat.

JJ won, on the road.....JL lost, at home.

Guess which stat ANY coach, ANY player, ANY fan would take across the country.
Thats will always be the difference between you and I msutiger.

JL cost us much more than 14. He didnt allow our defense to get rest with his constant 3 outs for most of that game. Besides, alot of those "stats" got inflated late in the game when Georgia pretty much had the game in hand.

Had JL won that game there would be no argument. But he didnt, nor didnt he win a lot of games.

You're right. If you want to use the 11 points logic on Jefferson then you have to say that JL cost us 28 points, 14 by pick six, 14 by the missed chance of a scoring drive.

Wrong play, The INT took 7 point from LSU. The overthrown ball in the ez took 4 points from LSU. 7+4=11. I didnt realize one of his picks led to a FG. But atleast JL provided offensively with 3 TD's

You are only counting Lee's pick 6's as if he didn't do anything else wrong. It would be one thing if you were equally critical about Lee and Jefferson, but you are not. You are equating a pick six with a overthrown pass.

There is a difference between throwing an interception that leads to a 3 and out and throwing an interception that allows a linebacker to walk into the endzone.

So you remember every play from last year like it was an hour ago?

No, but you still aren't realizing your logical flaw. If Jefferson is docked 7 points for the interception, then Lee needs to be docked 14. You understand why, right?

I'm blind am I? at what? our first year starting qb is not in the heisman race? so the frick what

were 5-0, and he's only thrown 2 ints. hes picked up important first downs with his leg, and his accuracy is improving

i have no complaints with JJ

Cox had better numbers than JJ, and he sucks

JJ would've lit up Georgia's defense if he had similiar protection to Cox.

What is the record of LSU when he has started? Name another SEC QB that has done what he has at 19?

Mitch Mustain was 8-0 or something as an 18 year old true freshman.

We are winning because we are a very talented team not because JJ is so great...he just hasn't lost any games for us. For better or worse JJ is our QB for now.

The good thing is that he seems determined to play very safe and do anything but throw int's. This is also the bad thing. It is amazing how often he is sacked given his athleticism and arm. JJ does makes some good plays, doesn't make too many bad one's, and hopefully will get better despite not seeming to be a "natural qb".

I just hope we keep seeing more and more of Shep, we haven't seen him throw yet in college but I get the feeling he is legit.
