I would take Meaux C #17 over the Honey Badger. Way better at shut down.
Right. And when half the field is shut down, that allows the safeties to be more aggressive.

I would argue that Mo's presence allows TM7 to do some of the shite he does.
of course. with the talent on this team you can blitz tm7 and not miss a beat in the db.

Did you see the interception in the Florida game?

Offhand? I would say Mo Claiborne is better.
clearly, though TM7's presence is felt more at times.

Yeah, the stuff Mo is doing isn't nearly as flashy...but it's certainly not less relevant.

Safety actually fits his skill set alot better than CB does. He's like a mini Ed reed in terms of making plays. He's just not that great in coverage which im thrilled the coaches realize and they try and protect with the rest of the secondary as best they can

He's not though. If forced fumbles were the only thing that mattered then he'd be having a better season

It shows how good the TEAM is when TM7 is mentioned in a "best playmaker" thread while Mo, Simon, Reid, Brooks and company are all in the conversation as well.

it is an injustice he is not going to be invited to New York
link? It was announced earlier that he is a finalist for the Walter Camp award that goes to the nation's best player. He was the only defensive player named. It is Richardson, Luck, RGIII, and one other QB, either Kellen Clemons or the dude from Houston.

He's not even the best corner on the team.

I absoloutely love HB7, but if i had a heisman vote, its going to Robert Griffin the Third. That guy, is simply amazing.

He's great, but RG3 is the best player in the country.
I was pushing Trent real big after our game, but then I watched RG3 a couple of times. I would take him over any player not wearing purple and gold right now. If he was at LSU we would score 100 points a game.

I live up here in big12 country...seeing RGIII many times...
Amazing.
I went home to Louisiana and during the ole miss game I told my brother to "check this guy out" about RGIII in the OU game.
RGIII didn't disappoint.

Funny how everybody thinks that tm7 only covers people average. He's an above average corner. Great tackler. I think he leads the team while missing a game. Makes plays every game. Average .6 forced fumbles a game. Really. Returns punts. And is amazing on covering punts inside 20. But y'all knack on the one thing he is above average on. Covering. Sorry we have the beat cb in the nation. Claiborne. But to say he's a better player than Mathieu. Ur nuts if u think tm7 is not the best player on this team

Mathieu is not only the best player on this team. He will probably go down as the best player to ever wear a LSU jersey before it's all said and done. He can do it ALL!
