Anyone have any problems finding gas along the way? There's been a run in Dallas and Austin today.

You took US 90 from the beltway to Beaumont, then got on I-10? I thought 90 was closed that way, and I-10 was closed between Beaumont and the border?
Thanks!

I traveled from The woodlands north of Houston today. Took the beltway to hwy 90 to I-10. Took me 7.5 hours but I made it. Sitting in Baton Rouge now.

Yep, I took 90 from 8 beltway to 10 in Beaumont. There was high water and it was slow going but I made it in my truck. There were cops all along the way advising low cars to turn around but I made it in my FX4.

69 North to Livingston. Then 190 east to Jasper. 63 to Leesville. 171 south to Lake Chuck to I-10 east. Took a friend about 5 1/2 hours to get from Houston to Lafayette today. Normally about 3-3 1/2 hours.

I'm leaving from Houston to Nola Friday morning. Any updates on the road conditions is greatly appreciated.

Waze now has a more direct route from Houston to LA, versus going up towards Leesville.

Thanks I will pass that on to someone who is making the trip today.

go up to Livingston, take 190 to Jasper, take 63 to Burkeville, which turns to 8 going into Leesville. Take 28 from Leesville to Alexandria. Take 49 to 10.

If I-10 is good from Lafayette to BR you can go down 49 to Laffy.
I10 is fine.

Looks like the main issue now is around Channelview / Baytown, and then Mt. Belvieu. At Winnie can take 73 south of Beaumont to avoid that mess, and that only really adds 10-15 minutes on a normal trip. If they can clear up I-10 directly east of Houston it should improve drive time drastically. Hoping this I the case over the next 12 hours or so.

Ok. 59 to Livingston 190 east is clear. We are on 190 heading to Jasper. If you are taking this route make sure you top of your gas before you get on 59 bc there is no gas though here: I will post another update once we get through jasper. Traffic light as of now.

Someone told me they took 190'east last night over Sabine.

I was also told 190 east is open into Louisiana now. We are on 190 right now about an hour away from there. I will update once we are able to pass.
