Criticizing a mistake is one thing. Base running errors happen. Tommy missed 3B and that was a 1 run loss. Milam got picked off in the SEC tourney and that was a 1 run game. You don’t bench those guys for those mistakes. It’s frustrating but this board reacts like it’s filled with a bunch of 15 years little girls.

I agree he didn't need to sit to adjust his attitude. I'm sure he was upset with himself for not hitting. My guess is Jay sat him to just let him take a breath, reset himself and then get back in there the next game. And it worked.
