I think Kubiak is just emphasizing certain things in order to motivate him... I bet he just needs to put in a little more study time on the playbook and not count on making the team as a kick returner.

Miles staff once again are the blame for how they underutilize players potential, thus hurting them when they hit the NFL.

That would make him even dumber, considering Kubiak wasn't the coach then.

that's it, there really was no other option, the texans needed a QB and decided to draft one rather than pick up a shitty one with experience. It was probably the worst draft for quarterbacks ever. They wanted him to lead the franchise fromthe start

Is this supposed to surprise somebody??

Exactly. He's getting his chance and we know his work ethic is top notch already. Combined with actual reps with a specified position corps, he's got a chance.

Kubiak is missing the boat if he doesn't utilize that speed for P/R's and K/O's

Maybe he could use him in a Wild TexiTiger formation?

Exactly what Saban is saying to all the recruits. Another hurdle Les has to overcome on the recruiting trail..

could you see poor trindon running a drag route over the middle with an nfl saftey waiting for him? I dont think Trindon would break any bones. On contact, Trinton's little body would turn to dust.

Trindon wouldn't be an NFL reciever if he learned under Miles, Saban, Jerry Rice, and Vince Lombardi. He's a kick returner at best.

Trindon will be a niche player in the NFL, but should have been featured in college. He had enough football skills on the college level, combined with his elite speed to create some incredible mismatches.

Used more sure, but not featured maybe 10-12 touches a game. If Gonzales had a year with Trindon using him like Jeff Demps would have made sense.

I always felt it was a wasted pick by the texans.

Holidays biggest obstacle is he's just not a very smart kid and WR is one of the hardest positions to learn in the NFL outside of QB.

He's a good but not great KR ( in NFL standards) but he will never return punts in the NFL and I don't see him as a WR ever. maybe a RB if anything.

Trindon was horribly misused at LSU. It seems the coaching staff was afraid to play him. He was the type of player that had to be accounted for on every play he was in. It's ashame the coaches were unable to take advantage of this. And when they did play him, they used him in the most predictable ways they possibly could.

I think Trindon's real problem will be blocking downfield against NFL DB's and linebackers. Can a team burn a roster spot on a WR who will never be able to do that because of his size?

Let's not forget - Drew Brees wasn't supposed to make it in the NFL either - on a good hair day he may hit 6'.

There are stories galore of how perseverance and hard work pay off in the NFL

just sayin......

Just having him in formation would tie up anopponents speedy D back.

For some reason, LSU's staff never figured this out. He IS unprepared for anything in the NFL outside of special teams for this very reason.
