It drops at a max of maybe 4 inches

Then it would be going about 130mph, so I doubt it.

I'm going to hope that you are just messing around. There are about 10 people in baseball that can throw over 100 mph and none of them play third base.

Not messing around. The guy can hum the ball.

The Damn ball does not drop from 3rd to first. Anyone who has seen him in action in person can second this.

a ball can be thrown a lot less than 100 mph and not look like its dropping

him being 5 ft 6 makes for a tight strike zone

He was a pitcher in high school throwing the ball in the 86 - 89 mph a year ago.

This makes perfect sense. Guys can propel themselves off a slanted mound and reach 94 mph throwing the ball 60 feet 6 inches.

Logic and physics suggest a 5'6 third baseman can throw the ball a much longer distance over 100 mph.

Sadly folks, I realy think this guy believes this.

The guy was throwing almost 90 mph in high school a year ago, why is it so hard to believe that he can't throw the ball much faster now. Freaking retards.

Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, and Bob Gibson could gas it in there...as well as a slew of closers. Tyler Hanover??? From third? No...

Yeah man, when I went to Alex Box I saw him throw once and looked at my buddies and said "Keeyaw, that 3rd baseman must be throwing over 100 mph"

they agreed with me.

yeah, I even claimed 103 and they all agreed.

so no matter the argument, it's somewhere between 100-103 approximately.

Most of the ranter don't even go to the games so they reply in disbelief. If you don't think the guy is throwing the ball 100 mph you haven't witnessed it in person at least not sober.

Yeah, they just follow the pbp on here and don't get the full experience. That Hanover kid is humming that ball, I think LSU should try him out as a closer.. jmo though!

From my understanding the kid was a 2nd baseman and part time closer. But he may not have the breaking thing going in his favor for college.

Idiot, I hope you're joking. Maybe a few outfielders on a crowhop and 10 MLB pitchers can throw 100, and you are telling me a guy threw high 80's last year added 10 mph in a year? Not possible.
