OKC fans are nearing Chiefs fans in levels of insecurity

Weird, but I think on here you are right.

Eventually most of the whiners will realize they just hate the current state of the NBA

Eventually? There’s weekly threads with people saying this. I love basketball, but the NBA is a boring product.

My HEB always has Abita. But…why would you expect a Texas based grocery store chain to carry Louisiana craft beers?

I’m wondering too. Maybe it’s a meme or something, but Pittsburgh had some shite seasons before Chuck Noll.
Mike Tomlin was properly rated. Seems like most talking heads understood he could consistently get teams to the playoffs, which is an achievement, but couldn’t win there anymore.

Dude, it’s not like Austin is going to have dramatically different food than the rest of the country. Their BBQ isn’t that different than what you’ll find in most of the south (unless you’re some type of hard core foodie).

I routinely shite on Austin, but Interstellar BBQ is the best I have ever had. It’s way better than Salt Lick. Franklin’s is great too. Sorry…I won’t deny Austin having a great BBQ scene.

Damn. I’m sure he’s real sorry he didn’t walk over to SGA and crew to pay homage to their greatness.

The league has been criticized for a while for not having player feuds and rivalries. There is one in the making, and you mad because of the disrespek.

Bro…are you really gonna dis Wemby because he didn’t dap up after the game? The bro culture in the NBA is pathetic. It’s very refreshing to see someone pissed off at an opponent. Even as an opposing fan, you should embrace it.

Lastly, this is regular season basketball. This stuff doesn’t really mean anything.
How are you doing buddy?

I’m kind of in a similar situation as OP with a friend. I tread carefully, because I was that friend in need a short time ago. My buddy’s breakup was before my divorce, and he’s still struggling a bit. I’m seeing a girl and her family is BIG on get togethers.

According to court documents, Charles, who was 24 at the time, drove three students, including a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, to the store's parking lot. It states she tied a blanket around the front seats headrests of her SUV and had sex with the 14-year-old boy in the front seat while the other two teens sat in the back seat.

Well, one of them I had seen for a while, so I figured she might be in line to be my girlfriend. That made me focus more on her friend.

I was in college, and my immaturity knew no bounds.

False. Athletes are not “the why”

You’re trolling, right? These guys aren’t students anymore.

Bingo.

The collapse won’t happen tomorrow, or even in 5 years. But I could definitely see interest in the sport leading to major attendance declines further down the road.

No one is getting mad here.

Uh huh

quote:

Well maybe the folks who will mot admit to Wemby flopping. The other day they posted a foul that SGA got and even the review got it wrong. It was not a foul, and those refs got it wrong. But there were screeching Karens in that thread railing on SGA when it was the refs who screwed up. I posted that Wemby and Doncic and others got the same thing. Last night Wemby flopped and I posted it because “thats different” when someone else does it. And then posters came to defend Wemby and declared it was not a flop. Most who post here are anti-OKC. I love it. Champions always get the hate. Thats who’s really mad, those who rail on OKC. And its fun to rib them. A majority of posters “never watch basketball” but are experts in flopping lol. Anyways, I’m happy that it chaps those non-watching NBA fans (sarcasm) because they only post thru hate of a team rather than knowledge. They also are like a certain party who deflect from the topic. Its actually fun. One poster even mentioned twitter as a bad thing. Whats the difference between twitter and here? This is a smaller version of social media. You make a post and people can comment on it or not. You can repost it by quoting. You can choose what to view. Twitter is a worldwide social media. You can make posts and people can comment on it or not. You can repost it. You can choose what to view. Twitter has a bigger range. Instant info. You learn who to trust and not. It really is no different than here except its a way bigger reach. There is nothing wrong with twitter and just like here you have to learn what to value or not. I don’t pay for it. I don’t post or reply on it. I only read and quote it. No different than here. Old days you had very slow info. Imagine NIL era back before twitter and other media methods out there now. You had magazines and newspapers and info was slow and very controlled by a few. Now you can get info fast. Not to derail but look at all the info coming out of Iran via twitter. It has many good uses. To me it works great in sports as you can get instant info and even short video clips of things. But I am not mad and think its funny how the OKC haters flock out in the other thread and were silent last night. So I posted it to prove a point. And it was proven. Doncic and Wemby and others can do same thing as SGA and its crickets. It shows agendas. That was my point.

Didn’t read this. Seems like you’re mad tho.

You were in a thread recently bitching about all the other fans being haters, then you become one of them.

You never answered straightforward questions about SGA and fouls, always deflected. Now you’re getting mad in here because people won’t give you a straight answer on a perceived flop.

The irony is strong.
But it’s so clean and fresh!

Next, let’s discuss corporate logos and font.

It’s all trash.

I get it, but we’ve seen this before. I had a “say it ain’t so” mentality when the baseball steroid scandal became an issue in the courtroom. I didn’t want to believe. Part of it, I refused to believe. Jose Canseco had to be lying. He needed money while he was under house arrest.

In the following days and weeks, I began to realize it was all true. I feel like these stories turn out to be true the majority of the time.

Hollywood is a predator's dream. Unaccountable, powerful men lording over young, naive people and their parents, who will do almost ANYTHING for fame and money.

This is a proven fact and it’s coming out through the legal system and pretty much every media outlet.

Makes me wonder about the 4 posters that would downvote you…
