They mentioned Fulton when they said we have talent equal to OSU but for some reason its not seen in the game.
I laughed pretty hard on that!

How does one loose explosiveness?

LSU transplanted and have been representing “The Purple and Gold” here since 88.
I’ve been here long enough to know Clemson almost as well as I do LSU.
With that said here’s the talk on CU Radio.

According to radio host Walt Deptula and ex CU Player turned host Eric McLain:
1: They respect the offense and believe they will have their hands full, but believe they will get to Joe and get stops, and turn overs based on disguise of scheme.
2: They have identified “Waldo” the weak link to exploit on our defense..... they say Jacoby Stevens cant cover, athletic but no ball skill to track passes. Clueless was word used.
3: They were in admiration of OSU’s physicality and said LSU is nowhere near as hard hitting as OSU or themselves! They believe they will hit us harder than we’ve been hit all year.
4: They say LSU’s defense is full of solid athletes similar to OSU, but to their surprise..... LSU doesn’t play like it.
Delpit is overated, Cant cover or tackle.
Stingley gets respect as does Chaisson. Everyone else is average in play but talented.
5: The defense overall is not very good, improving but not good enough to contain their offense.
6: They fear our WR’s and Clyde. They are hoping Marshal is out, because we loose explosiveness.
7: They said our O Line is susceptible to stunts and expect Venebles to exploit that.
8: They expect us to play alot of man and though they respect Stingley say Higgins and Ross will win their 1-1’s
Lastly: They believe they can run for over 200 yds easily because of ole piss tape and Lawrence/Ettienne.

They are weary of their safeties in coverage.
They respect our offense but think they win by 10-14 because they get stops....we dont.

I’ll add this because they didn’t touch on it.
There kicking game is atrocious!
Placekicking is very suspect and punter is rugby style that isn’t consistent.

As idiotic as all of the above is, I bet their coaching staff, unfortunately, isn't that dysfunctional.

I REALLY hope they buy into this and commit to the running game.

I love when people rely on the Ole Miss game and think it’s the holy grail to exploit our defense:

—the Bama hangover was real. It happens to every damn team a week after a physical game. Even MSU limited us to 30 points—we just played a very physical game vs UF. Wisconsin vs OSU is yet another example—those games take a lot out of you.

-Grant Delpit played hurt and was the reason why they broke off two of those runs

But hey, don’t take it from me: check out every damn game since Ole Miss. Or don’t, and find out for yourself on Jan 13th.

Thats the pot calling the kettle black.
Their T.E. Galloway was suspended last year prior to semi along with Dexter Lawrence for PED. He had a year. Last week was his first game back

In still waiting for ANYONE from Clemson or anywhere else to explain why their defense will stop LSU when nobody else has?

...it’s not like we havent faced great defenses.

Only thing they're right on is Jacoby... he has trouble in coverage. Venables has no scheme for Joe that's new. He's a dead man and he knows it.

He was injured but I thought the came back in. There is no reason to believe that he won’t play in the NC game.

What he can’t prepare for is a QB who has true nfl skills NOW. This game will not be close.

Yep—this is the name they conveniently forgot to bring up:

Jacoby Stevens almost exclusively plays LB with the emergence of Mo Hampton.

LSU is not physical? Wow - selective research and bias for sure. They have no idea, and it’s right under their nose (fans, sports talk radio). We’ll- we know the Clemson players don’t feel this way given they will actually break down the tape.

All of this is just useless talk from the peanut gallery. Clueless, not even worth having a conversation with.... compare this to AOC’s green plan. Good grief

Stevens actually covered him really well. It was a good throw and catch.

According to the Clemson fans who clearly have an influence to the game planning and play calling, they are under estimating FS/SS. Great - they will live and learn and Pay the consequences.

It's going to come down to red zone scoring by lsu and who consistently wins the battle with Steven's and/or Vincent against their wrs. If lsu wins either one of these we win.

So CeeDee Lamb makes a ridiculous catch and that means Stevens is clueless in coverage? Granted, he was a bit on that play but it was ONE PLAY

Yeah, Stevens is not as good as the others as a cover guy and was lost on that play, but he also won THREE SEC Player of the Week awards. Dude is a major playmaker with 5 sacks and 3 interceptions as a safety. He's a great player and a class act as well.

Coaches kept him out and it was not needed to send him back out.
