My wife is a UVA grad so I usually try to keep up with your team. I like yall's new coach and I'm surprised the team doesnt look better this year.

In 2007 I took my wife to the LSU-VaTech game so she could see the Hokies lose, since UVA is incapable of doing it themselves. She is forever grateful to LSU for that.

Scott Van Pelt show broadcasting live out of Walk-Ons today, Noon - 3:00

Van Pelt is at walk-ons? No idea, I missed his show yesterday. My balcony looks over walk-ons, I may go over there and check it out.

Wahoo, we don't tailgate in the traditional sense of doing a lot of cooking and stuff but we set up at the bottom of the hill on the PMAC side, 1st area under the oak trees after the parking lot. You are more than welcome to stop by for a beer or two and stand near us so you and your boy can see the band up close and personal. Lots of food around us and the band of the day is really close by, so LOTS to do around us. I'll look for you as well.

We are going out to "set up" our tailgate tonight. You are more than welcome to "help". If interested, post your email address and I will give you directions to the 'gate. We are on the south side of the stadium so not far from your hotel.

Biglego, being a UVA sports fan is one of the toughest jobs in America unfortunately.

London is doing an awesome job recruiting the state and taking it back from Frankie boy. We are very young with no QB. the future is bright

SVP isn't there, but Ryen Russillo is. Les Miles was giving SVP some crap about not being there in person earlier in the week when he was on the show.

I talked with the guys there and they said they'll start broadcasting at 10:00 am tomorrow morning but just heard Ryen talking about someone delivered some boudain to him and they started talking about the food.

They stop right in front of us and we are right on the front row against the barriers. The Golden Girls are close enough you can smell the perfume.
Not sure how old your son is but we have kids as well and we toss a ball around and let em run.

He's a sophomore in high school. I'm sure he will be very interested in the location!

I graduated UVA class of 2004. It's a great place. Football games in C-Ville are fun, but it does not compare to the LSU experience.

Truth. I was on UVA campus for the USC game back in 2008 and it was incredibly low key for such a big game. I guess they just had no confidence they could win, but still.

UVA will be in the ACC hunt in a couple years though.

Guys, we are planning in wearing UVA shirts at everyone's suggestion. My son is kinda spooked about the piss balloons. Our shirts are orange and a darker, navy blue trim.

Thoughts?

You should be fine. If you are going to wear the UVA shirt, I would personally rock a LSU hat to make sure there is no confusion.

UF also has those colors though, not the same hue but I'd make sure your UVA decals are noticeable enough, and yes a LSU hat is a good suggestion. It's not like the father son pair will be a walking bullseye anyway...

Good luck and hope you two have a good time.

wahoobobby-

Just got into town. We're about to head over to a place called Parrains. It's on Perkins. It's a fun place to hang out at. Good food too.

I'll be out tomorrow around 10 or so like I said. You ready, my friend?
