STOP BETTING! Just stop right now. If you don't have the knowledge of what plus and minus means, you really shouldn't be gambling on sports.

I'm telling you because you got royally fricked if you bet something at +250 and got paid on -250 odds.
-250 means you risk 250 to win 100, translate that to read risk 100 to win 40. If you risked 100 on a +250 bet, you would win 350 (250 profit and your 100 back).
Also, there is not a college baseball fan in his right mind that would offer you +250 on Louis Coleman. Mark my words, Coleman will not be +250 to any team in the CWS.

I dont know what the ticket said or what you saw but there is no way LSU Was +250. That translates into lsu getting 2.5-1 odds. With coleman on the mound there is no way LSU got odds in their favor think about it that way. Not tryign to jump on you just giving you a different way to look at it.
