3rd Base 2nd Base Yeah I only played JUCO. That said, these are the stats for a guy that played the year before I got there at 3rd and then a year with me at 2nd. When playing 3rd, he had 25 errors. When playing 2nd, he had SIX.
Seriously, that’s your evidence for 2nd base being easier than 1st base? or right field? Or left field? Again, I said it wasn’t in the top 3.
A couple of pointers; when you use statistics to prove your point it needs to be a much larger sample size. Also, there must be controls to disqualify outliers.
Let’s also remember, you didn’t say 2nd base was easier than 3rd base, you said it was the easiest position. Don’t move the goal post.
Had you said 2nd was easier than 3rd you may have had a more receptive audience. Many people would still say 2nd base is harder, but you would have at least made an arguable point.

If you can pick, yeah, 1B is easy. But how many guys are good at that? Also, you need decent height and wing span or you're a liability.
It is universally accepted that 1st base is, by far, the easiest position to play
quote:
I played in college dipshit.
There is zero chance that you played in college and think 2nd base is the easiest position to play.
If we’re making a list, 2nd base wouldn’t be in the top 3

What did Flaujay do?

We’re an absolute joke of an athletic department.
After what we just pulled off in football? Seriously?

If it’s a choice of Angel or Flaujae, I’d vote Flaujae simply bc I believe she will be a better ambassador for LSU in the future
quote:
That would be like retiring Ricky Blanton's number ahead of Big Baby.
If that is what we’re deciding today, I’ll supply one vote for Flau’jae and one for Ricky.

Good lord Woodward is fat
I’m glad I wasn’t the first (or only) one who had this thought.
I’m not trying to be mean just bc he was a terrible AD and unnecessarily cost LSU tens of millions of dollars. I really think his fatness if the first and most lasting impression anyone has of Woodward.

Just cements Vitello as the GOAT NCAA baseball coach.
Really, that’s what it does?

It doesn't sound simple at all.
It is simple. It’s just not easy.

Your objective was solid. Your execution of that objective seriously missed the mark.
What was his objective? I seriously don’t know.

Cool…..I’ll go list 2 tickets for the next men’s game for $100,000 means just as much as someone pointing out what someone LISTED their women’s tickets for.
I didn’t say it meant anything. I simply said that his premise (which is they are listed) is a fact. It is not subjective. The tickets are listed just as the OP stated.

He's worst than Skip
?????
quote:
Your premise is ignorant…..can list for a million, doesn’t mean someone will buy it.
I think his premise is that there are two tickets priced at $8k. As best I can tell he implied nothing else; only that someone listed them. That’s not ignorance, that is a fact. If you made any other inferences, that’s on you.

Do you spend your whole day -- and whole life -- putting a political spin on everything, including sports & games
I think that is a question better addressed to The Athletic and The NY Times.

Three great Tigers. However, they never stepped up and performed in a Senior Bowl practice or game like Nuss did this week.
You dangled a shiny hook and got us. Congrats brother. Nice troll. I sincerely thought you were serious after your original post.

I know I might be harsh listing Nuss as the 4th spot of Mount Rushmore just behind Y.A.
This is just silly. 4th in LSU history ahead of Hodson? Ahead of Bert Jones? Are you serious?
I would put Mett, Mauke, Ro and Herb Tyler in front of him. Hell, Josh Booty was all SEC his senior year. I would arguably put Booty in front of him.
I like Nuss and I appreciate him staying at LSU his entire career, but come on.

you act like Landry has any real authority over intercollegiate athletics or anything outside of the state.
It was state government around the country that started this whole “wild west” intercollegiate system that we have now. Landry has just as much authority as the knuckleheads who got us here.
Never underestimate a politicians ability to:
1) Screw something up
2) Identify a problem and then make it worse
3) Create a problem where none exists.

It was dumb to say that and now they're having the waste more money on promotions to try to get people to games.
Firing the coach now isn't going to change who goes to the next 4 or 5 games. It’s only another month and we can get rid of him at the end of the year.
