It's a pretty sad statement about the state of our football program that you were able to do that.

I wouldnt count on it. I belive that Ohio State sold much more tickets then you guys have bought. They were semi loud, but you will be surprised at the noise the stadium makes. Its the loudest stadium in recorded history, back in 92' at the Nebraska game. Also, the start of the wave by the husky marching band.

It sounds like when Kurt Cobain went, so did UW football.

I thought from the other thread UW's band won't be there. Are you referring to the alumni band?

The loudest in history? PLEASE!!!! When the noise from your crowd registers on a seismogram then you can tell me something about crowd noise!

Them UW fans are right about the loudest stadium claim but SFW. Our fans weren't loud neither last year against Ole Miss. Point is crowd noise ain't snot when you're getting it beat out of ya.

New year and new team and UW goes down by 35 amongst mostly Purple AND Gold clad fans.

You guys bring up the earthquake game a lot. The seismograph on your campus was only 1000 feet from the stadium. How many schools would have a seismograph that close to the stadium? I know the seismograph on our campus is around 2 miles from the stadium. I guarantee that if all other big schools had a seismograph that close, there'd be other "earthquake games" at other schools. It's still impressive that it registered as an earthquake, but it's not nearly as special as you all make it out to be.

It's just a unique story. The fact is that since they added the other upper deck, I'd venture to say most games now are louder than that one was. The Florida game in 07 and the Bama game in 08 were probably the loudest in TS history due to the fact that they were the largest crowds and were crazy games.

It may not be THAT special to create an earthquake with a vicotry. But what IS special is losing EVERY game of your season. That takes a special kinda talent.

fair enough, it is definitely a unique/interesting story.
