We have family in Portland, Oregon so we are flying there for a few days and then driving up to Seattle for the game.

Word to the wise. If there are any low hanging clouds - a VERY likely scenario - don't waste your time going to Hurricane Ridge. You won't see much. However, if it is a nice day, that is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.
Nice trip would be to:
1.) drive over to Port Townsend for 1/2 day
2.)swing over to Port Angeles to see Hurricane Ridge for 1/2 day
3.) Catch the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria - the lights are great at night
4.) Spend the night at The Empress
5.) Spend a day in Victoria and catch the last ferry back to Seattle.
There - that's an itinerary for ya...

I was with my Seattle rep today on business. He and his son are Wazzu alums and HATE UW. I mentioned that I might just have to plan a business trip up here in Seattle that week and stay for the game. I asked them if I could get tickets for them, would they go, and they said "HELL YEAH! You just got 2 more LSU fans to watch that game with!"
On a side note, the rep's son said, "What was UW thinking when they scheduled a great team like LSU? They're not even in the same universe with LSU!"

Monday to Monday. Flying to SF, wineries and redwoods on the way then drive the coast, game Saturday, explore Seattle Sunday, fly back Monday.
