Not really... but I didnt play up to my capability because I was a dumbass, wild freshman that chose to party and flunk out... Why so harsh? Do you feel like you are the only capable person to earn a scholarship? I guess now I am a kicker?

Lighten up Francis! It was an inside joke...... Nothing worse than a walk-on kicker wearing his workout clothes to class to get the ladies attention!

I can't really understand how you can say that our QB play SHOULD have been better this season. JJ is 19 and this was his first full season of action.
Look at these career progressions:
Jamarcus Russell
Redshirt Freshman year 50% completions 1,053 yds 9 td 4 int 127 rating
Redshirt Sophomore year 60.5% completions 2,443 yds 15 td 9 int 136.6 rating
Redshirt Junior year 68% completions 3,129 yds 28 td 8 int 167 rating
Jordan Jefferson
True Freshman year 49% completions 419 yds 4 td 1 int 112.9 rating
True Sophomore year 62% completions 1,984 yds 16 td 6 int 137.8 rating
So why did you EXPECT JJ to do better this season? As a TRUE sophomore his stats were very comparable to Jamarcus as a redshirt sophomore. He also showed a greater improvement from year 1 to year 2 than Jamarcus did. So why are we holding this kid to a higher standard? Compare JJ to other QB's across the nation with similar levels of experience and you'll see that he is doing a very good job. With better O Line play and a year of experience under his belt he should have a breakout jr year.

I'd make sure to be built like a linebacker or somethin though..

I was no kicker but I must admit, I did wear some workout clothes to class on occasion and it "worked out" like a charm.
